Barton to Bristol Rovers?

Having worked with him, I honestly believe he will be a EPL manager in years to come. We shall see what happens come June / July if a verdict is given.

You are guilty of applying a rational opinion with personal experience of an individual, that is no way to draw any sort of conclusion ☺️
It won't be popular on this board where people draw their opinions from Sun headlines, twitter or what a bloke said down the pub.

I don’t doubt his passion, or his managerial skills, but Mr Pilley had backed him to the limit of what was possible at the club, he could do no more, it came to an inevitable outcome?

The Little Lamb....Joey's just a poor misunderstood soul......I hope he does make it as a manager.
I know we would all like to see him knock out OAP; Roy Hodgson live on Sky Sports Sunday...or headbutt Jurgen when he's not looking......

All his passion would also add a little danger to the after game interview....if his team lose.....will he beat the interviewer to a pulp..!

Worked with JB at Fleetwood Town. Just my views after working closely with him for two seasons. He knows he’s got that switch but on a football management level & his knowledge, I don’t see why he can’t make it to the top league.
He'll do well at Bristol Rovers if he's given the chance, I rate him as a manager.
He did well at Fleetwood and as long as he can control his temper, I agree that he could go on to manage in higher leagues

I'd still take him at Blackpool. Talk about a manager we could get behind, imagine the North Stand with an ultra aggressive manager leading the way.
