Bayern v Leverkusen

Boniface is some striker. Good clash this, Harry won’t have it all his own way in the Bundesliga this season.

Big Ange is going to be very good for Spurs.

Not that anyone on here would care or have a 2nd team to get excited about it.
Be interesting to see how he fares as he was pretty much in a one horse race north of the border and failed in Europe. He certainly won’t find it that easy in the Prem.

He's pretty much won everywhere he's managed.

But yes the Premier League is going to be very difficult. They look amazing right now. But yes the challenges will come.

The Spurs fans didn't want him because they thought they should have a 'big name' signing for a so called Top 6 team (even though they haven't won anything for decades) . . . look where that's got them before.

It's only early days but he's proving all the doubters wrong so far.

2 seasons ago Celtic fans were exactly the same. Who the fuck is this fella? What does he know?

Turned out he knows quite a lot, a deep knowledge of global football, a deep thinker, a great leader and an exceptional man manager. Oh and is totally honest in every interview and appreciates the fans more than anything.

Turning into a Spurs fan myself.

Yeah but would you trust any bloke named Ange?

some people acknowledge they like Spurs same as others acknowledge they like other top teams. On the other hand others try to keep their liking for other teams quiet. It's good that posters on AVFTT spread their allegiances far and wide, even north of the border.

On Sky sports mix now.

Kane has scored but now one all. Bayer are coached by Xabi Alonso - would be a good shout for the next Liverpool manager.
If he does well there he will be a shoe in. I’ve seen a lot of footage of him in training where he still can’t realise he’s no longer playing. He’s getting stuck in, wiping out players with slide tackles and pinging 40 yard cross field passes.

I like him. He interviews well and seems hell bent on ‘throwing a punch’ knowing that he is behind City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle and Man U in the spending war

Hopefully AP will realise that there's only certain trophies Spurs are capable of winning and not rest his best players for them like Conte did with Kane in the FA Cup. I think he's perfect for Spurs and will lower expectations a bit because the fans will connect with him. With a bit of backing over time he will do well.

Wolves all over Liverpool and should be at least three up instead of only one. Why do I feel this could be another Newcastle v Liverpool type of game that we saw a few weeks ago.
