First sentence:

"Coventry City blew their chance to escape the Championship bottom three for the first time this season as the virus-hit Sky Blues allowed Blackpool to come from behind to win at the CBS Arena."

Or what it should say:

"Blackpool showed their quality by fighting back for a deserved win against Coventry, as both side were depleted by illness, injury and suspensions."

It seems other clubs can only lose due to injuries and absences, and it's only us that should be winning with them.

Very good point, at least some of the Cov fans knew about our injury problems!

Don't forget also, the Preston game changed when one of their players went off, despite us losing 3, having a player who had only played 45 mins in Hubby, Madine, Bridcutt and Thorniley carrying a knock, a whole team out though injuries or suspension. Played a game with a day less recovery time.

But that doesn't matter, when we win the opposition lost 1 player so that's probably why.

Steady on! You'll have opponents thinking we've got a good squad.

Playoff final: QPR missed the easiest chance they'll ever get to go up and let Blackpool score 4 goals without reply, allowing them to be promoted to the Premier league.

QPR lost 1 player in the build up and despite Blackpool finishing the game with the only 9 men they had available, the QPR injury changed the game.

A fortunate passage of play meant that after 58 passes, Patino was allowed to skip past 4 players and fire a shot into the top corner.

An accidental bicycle kick from Yates, followed by a 30 yard volley gave Blackpool a undeserved but unassailable lead.

Barry Madine meant to pass to his own man and powered the header straight into the net to score the 4th.

A childish Blackpool then wouldn't give the ball back to QPR and kept kicking it round them making them chase it.

Blackpool fc have been contacted for comment.

Sorry you misquoted the last bit. What it actually said was, "A childish Blackburn then wouldn't give the ball back to QPR....
