On the BBC Sport website there’s a footie quiz where you need to name all teams that have been top of the Premier League, there’s 28 in total but we aren’t mentioned although the likes of Wigan Sheffield United and Bournemouth are , why doesn’t our couple of hours at the top on the opening day count?

Already a thread on it.
I understand why we are not included. For me the top of table only counts after each days fixtures have been completed. Chelsea still had to play and won by more than us so at the end of the day all websites and next mornings papers would have shown Chelsea as being top,

I quite like the fact that we were top for only a couple of hours, adds to the quirkiness.
