BBC...WTF

I see the BBC intend to make a TV “drama” or whatever they want to call it about Jimmy Saville.

Who in their right mind would want to watch this as so called entertainment.

And Steve Coogan is going to play the part....says it all🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.
I saw a play a few years ago at the Edinburgh Fringe about Saville, the part of Saville being played by Alistair McGowan but the story was from the viewpoint of a young girl who had been abused. Strangely, In equal measures it was both shocking and funny at the same time.

The establishment support he received, Thatcher, Prince Charles and The BBC etc behind him was amazing with even the young girls family not believing her was so sad.

You might not like it, but the story needs to be told warts and all. McGowan’s performance as the man who thought himself untouchable, which he was till his death, was brilliant and portrayed the power he had over everyone, and after all, Saville himself took us all in with his “Uncle Jim” persona.

He didn't really take anyone in, they just ignored it, the CPS dropped cases against, Jersey police did the same, he was banned from Children in Need, Louis Theroux accused him etc..

Come on Lytham, you know Jim Fixed It For You!

But this is real life and there are many many people around who were affected by his actions. They won’t see it as good drama but making them live through it again. A bit like sick psychopaths who force their victims to take the stand in court despite evidence being stacked against them except in this case Seville’s not around to get a kick out of it
Amd yet we soak up dramas about other paedophiles, great train robbers who killed a man, the Hatton Garden robbers, mass murderers like John Christie, the Moors murderers....
Drama is about real life and we have to accommodate it.
