Beale Sacked

The whole chain that was caused by Beale leaving Villa as Gerrard's assistance has left all worse off. To a man and to all the clubs involved. Can't think of anyone who did well out of it.
Stevie G on the Saudi gravy train will be lacking his lips.🤑

Another 20 years Celtic winning the league then.

Joking apart (it will be 30 years) - it does highlight that despite what Ged the Red's failure at Villa, what he did at Rangers was impressive.

Goes to show how winning a two horse race ain't all that 😉

I see that one of their interim coaches is Alex Rae - remember him, Paul Ince's regular right hand man?

A concise summary of his coaching/managerial career 😲 ....
Dundee: Sacked
MK Dons: Not given a permanent offer
Notts County: Sacked
Blackpool: Sacked
Genk: Sacked
St Mirren: Sacked
Reading: Sacked

To be fair, most managers, even the good ones (and Appletonk) end up getting sacked

The average tenure as a manager in English football is 11 months.

If a manager has been in the game long enough, all their CVs read like that.

After their recent demolition of Brighton (along with other favourable results), I feel obliged to make the point that, as a club, Villa certainly don't appear to have come out of the whole sorry business too badly ...
