Some very familiar names and teams there OTI played with or against a lot of the players mentioned already but I'll add a few more - Hamish Pickering, Ronnie Mizon, Jim Betmead, Dave Drinkwater, Sandy Brown, Steve Sloane (when he could be bothered). Kevin & John Gerrard were not bad either. Iain Hesford at 16 was the best keeper I ever played with. Some very good sides in the 70s & early 80s - Golden Eagle, Marklynn Motors, Warwick Souhpool & the Fleetwood team which simply changed its name every couple of seasons or so (still got some dints in my shins from those encounters).
Sloney, you got it spot on, cracking player/playmaker when he could be bothered - used to enjoy a can of lager at half time ole Sloney. Some very familiar names and teams there OT

Brent was my manager when playing for Lytham St Annes. Certainly let you know if you had a bad game but a lovely bloke off the pitch. Sadly passed away towards the end of 2020.Brent Smith St Annes Ex Service by any chance?
