I take that wasn't given out as the fielders foot had grounded over the boundary before he touched the ball.

He did a scissor kick so both feet were off the ground when in contact with the ball over the boundary line so I think it’s a legal catch. Unless he landed while it was still touching his foot but I’m giving him that one for imagination alone!
