I've never had any desire to take Class A drugs (or Class B,C,or D ones), other than Caffeine in abundance & alcohol in moderation, I much prefer the alternative

What your favourite out of ALL the drugs…..I like the alcohol but it’s very bad for you. I also like ibuprofen if I’ve got a muscle strain or some such and I also used to like the amphetamines …what your top 3?

I used to like amphetamines in the 80's. Haven't had any for decades, but if someone stuck a line under my nose now I'd struggle to resist snorting it.

If you are unlucky enough to occasionally suffer from inflammatory arthritis, otherwise known as “gout”...
then Colchicine, extracted from the Autumn Crocus plant, is the best drug in the world.

Take 4 tiny pills spread out over 2 days and the gout and pain just fades away. Otherwise it could last weeks.

But Colchicine is so toxic that you can only take less than 2 milligrams a day. Compare that to a single ibuprofen tablet of 200 mg. Any more than 7 mg in one go and you are at risk of death from multiple organ failure within 4 days. A dozen or so pills and you are a gonner. And there is no known antidote. So they only prescribe the drug in one very small packet of 8 x 1 mg.

It’s probably one of the most powerful drugs in the world. And it’s wholly natural, not synthetic.

But… was there ever a better night than when you and your pals did purple ohms or micro dots and just sat watching the sun go down giggling like idiots?

Probably be largely baking soda nowadays - good for heartburn mind you so possibly not entirely a waste of money
