Best Goal scored by a Blackpool FC player

Suddick wonder goal v Verona at Bloomfield Rd- my favourite and no film footage exists. Only about 5-6 thousand there to see it and a lot have passed away since including sadly the scorer. Second favourite is Hockaday at home to Swindon, dribbling from his own half then crashing the ball high into the net from outside the box. Better than Walsh's goal of the season.

I'll go for this one
I must be in a bit of a minority on this one. Whilst it was a lovely curled finish the keepers effort at a save was absolutely shocking. He could have virtually stood and caught it if he hadn’t dived so early. The importance of the goal though still makes it a classic but I think there’s been better.

Suddicks Anglo Italian wonder goal, 10,000 there to see it. I've seen stills of it since but no video footage, a crying shame.

Hockadays goal against Swindon when he waltzed passed about 5 defenders in a 5-2 win to scupper their promotion chances.

Micky Walsh GOTS against Sunderland

Richard Walkers header from 25 yards.

Charlies free kick at Wembley.

That's my top 5.

On a similar note, Simmo's first game for us against Hull at home, the keeper hoofs it downfield, as it drops over his shoulder, Simmo volleys it into the net without the ball ever touching the ground. Fantastic technique.
I remember that one.

Lua Lua vs Reading, definitely the best I've seen live. Not as important as others mentioned but a ridiculous goal nonetheless.
Reminds me of an uncharacteristic Ben Burgess goal at Charlton when he crashed one in at the other end from 25 yards out.

Given the importance of the game, DJ's second against Forest, killed them off and the link up with Dobbie was pure football and then finished with the nonchalant curler in to the corner.

I always prefer team goals to win these things as opposed to hit and hopes.

Alan Suddick's goal against Verona is by far the best goal I've ever seen Blackpool score, by a country mile. It was astonishing.

There is a photograph of him chipping the ball over one of the Verona defenders' head - I can't recall if it was the first or second defender he did it to on his way to putting it past the keeper.

No question, that’s it, I was there, absolutely magical.
