Second favourite is Hockaday at home to Swindon, dribbling from his own half then crashing the ball high into the net from outside the box. Better than Walsh's goal of the season.

I must be in a bit of a minority on this one. Whilst it was a lovely curled finish the keepers effort at a save was absolutely shocking. He could have virtually stood and caught it if he hadn’t dived so early. The importance of the goal though still makes it a classic but I think there’s been better.

There is a photograph of him chipping the ball over one of the Verona defenders' head - I can't recall if it was the first or second defender he did it to on his way to putting it past the keeper.
