Great goal today but scoring regularly is pushing it, he's scored 1 goal in the 9 league games he's played this season
with no assists, so NO he's not the one that got away. Flatters to deceive IMO

Pre-season last season he looked the best striker at the club. Clueless Critchley wouldn't play him despite how good he looked.

Yes I see he has not scored many in the league but did in the EFL trophy.
He had massive personal issues to deal with here and had to train on his own due to impending court case to "protect" our youngsters,so he never realised his potential.
I think he was cold shouldered and did not deserve it, much prefer him to Fletcher, who cannot be arsed.

You obviously haven't supported the club that long and haven't watched the team in the last couple of seasons.

Sounds like he's playing well at Wycombe (well for the 2 games there have been posts about him)
I can remember him scoring some good goals in pre-season for us, but didn't manage to repeat that in competitive games when he got the chance.

The club didn't play him due to the charges against him at the time, but he didn't seem to take his chance to cement place in the starting 11 when the opportunities came his way after he was cleared of those charges (iirc)

Every match report says they've not played well but ground out a result, including today. Long way to go yet. They'll fall away. They are the Shrewsbury of a few seasons back who fell apart as the season finished and missed out.
 
Another one for the mighty Bez. Can't stop scoring at the moment . Mind you Wycombe lost in the no point at all competition

How did he lie to the club? Why is he dodgy?

A quick google search will find an article in which it’s stated he told the club when he was charged and he was suspended.

It’s difficult to find any specific detail on his trial but wasn’t he found not guilty and his accuser found to be telling lies?

Either way, pointless conversation. Didn't take his chances and wasn't available for selection. Neither parties fault. He needed a fresh start.

It wasn't on his CV which as we know, is a criminal offence according to some 😉
