Billy no mates

I bet he’s really dad after being snubbed by that tw*t Macron. 🤣
And this was after he was uninvited to the EU leaders meeting after his comments about the EU last week.
It looks very much like he was snubbed by everyone there. You may be blinded by hatred for Macron Jaffa, but diplomacy is actually important. You don't have to like your opposite number but you do need to foster a good relationship. These things do have consequences, good personal relations between leaders lead to good things (like trade, mutual cooperation etc).
I'm a little surprised about this as according to the government we are leading the world's response to the invasion of Ukraine, just as we are, according to the government, the most generous country in the world in terms of accepting refugees. The other leaders there don't seem to be treating the PM like a leader.

The title is about EU leaders snubbing Boris so who’s fault is it then?
The person who compared the EU, a democratic institution, to the fascist actions of the Russians last week is at fault.
Maybe Macron is as bad as you think, but that does not explain why in the clip no-one else wants anything to do with Johnson. This is serious, we are talking about the national interest, it effects us all. The thing is, he can get away with his posh boy 'charm' here in the UK, it is the way that we are socialised, but the Europeans just look at him and see a crass, bumbling idiot who shouldn't be anywhere near the position of PM.

I think there's a few other leaders could have looked at what have done as a country for Ukraine and given the democratically elected representative of that country the respect we've earned.

Let's not forget we've trained 25,000 of their troops over the last 5 years, equipped their military with useful weaponry (and not just 5000 helmets after the invasion had started) etc.

The Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK explained it all very well in the first few days of the war - our help was miles better than everybody else's and they appreciated it.

The fact that some of the leaders don't like our PM is petty and inconsequential compared to the role we have played so far in supporting Ukraine.

They'd do well to remember it.

Whilst I agree with you on certain points more the pity then all these other countries haven’t supplied no where near the arms we have sent to Ukraine.

Its symbolic. Just shows hes not respected across the world , not just in Europe , but by Joe Biden too. One exception may be Ukraine( as weve helped them with weapons and miltary support)
We are really " outside the tent" now in terms of our world influence . Left out of meetings this week. Despite differences on some policies re Ukraine, the EU has stepped up in this situation. The European Community grew up after the second world war with the aim of building peaceful relations between European countries . Holds good now. While Johnson is leader we wont be respected .
But if you look at the world through Brex- ray ( rose tinted ) glasses then I don't expect you will agree.

This is incredibly irresponsible and foolish behaviour when it is so important that the west should look united and therefore strong at a time of serious concern for the world. Johnson was foolish to say what he said but to ostracize him for the world to see will be seen as a weakness that the wests enemies will perceive as such.

Not only is Johnson ignored, left to hang out to dry by the worlds leaders because he, and by association, we, are now irrelevant on the world stage, but his slobbish and slovenly demeanour is a perfect symbol for post Brexit U.K.
How did we get so low life and pathetic…..

It's always someone else's fault isn't it.
Some would say that it was childish to compare the EU to the Russians which is what Johnson did last week.
Just an observation ... forgot we’re only allowed to look at something through one lens on this board these days... my apologies.

So the UK is now irrelevant on the world stage according to you. That's a very sweeping statement. Do you have any actual evidence?

Deflection.
Why do you think that [seemingly from the clip] all of the leaders of Western NATO countries want to ostracise our PM?

My first thought was the same as New Holland: it was childish.
I’m no fan of Boris but, I’d like to think that if I met him, I would still be polite.

Glad I wasn’t in politics!

Putin doesn't seem to think so, the Ukrainians also.

If anyone's starting to look irrelevant, it's Macron.

Its an opinion. Plenty of commentary supporting it. The photo reveals a lot. Its not just Macron cold shouldering him , includes Biden and other leaders.

Apparently Government ministers are furious that Johnson wasn't invited to the EU-US meeting earlier this evening. You just couldn't make this shit up.

It’s a shortened clip you buffoon. Propaganda and the Left lap it up. Obsessed.

Yep.

They're all standing in an assigned place, the PM and most of the others have presumably been there a while and done the shakes, Macron has turned up late so it looks like he's getting special treatment, when he's really not, Biden is supposed to be next to the PM, but he's late too which makes it look worse.

Is this all the left has to offer? Fabricated stories trying to paint the PM in a bad light? It's pathetic.

The only people who care about being 'snubbed' by the EU are those who still want to be in the EU.

We seem to be at quite a lot of these global exchanges - and in our own right rather than as a bit part player as part of a collective - which suggests we're not as irrelevant as some might think/hope.

Err...the UK has always been a member of NATO. That's why Johnson was there.

We elect Etonians to govern us. They've been taught they are better than everyone including Jonny Foreigner, they don't do equals or collaboration, they are superior. Unfortunately the plebs seem to be impressed with this, it's cool to see rich posh boys do the political equivalent of pissing in your neighbours back yard then tell that to fuck off. Impressive stuff for the hard of thinking and there are millions of them!
