Birmingham charged by EFL

As bad as it’s been the last 12 months isn’t it good to just have a football team to support again.

Thank god we don’t have to go through this shit anymore. People have very short memories.

No one knows who even owns BCFC. Bonkers.

Their fans seems to think that the failed take over bid was either contrived to get investment to who ever the owners are in return for who knows what or the takeover couldn't happen precisely because no one has a clue who ultimately owns the club.

There's long been speculation that the guy who bought the club from Carson Yeung about7 or 8 years ago never actually existed and Yeung never really stopped owning the club.

What a mess.
Glad the FA's owners test is as good as ever.

Well if you don't know who the owners are you can't apply an owner's test.

Was it ridsdale who was a front for some dodgy investment firm at a couple of clubs,

Surely if you can’t even apply the test you say sorry but no thanks.

To be honest the BCFC ownership stuff is so murky it could be anything. Couple of years ago the CEO in an interview was asked who owned the club and he just sat there staring blankly into the screen. It’s bonkers.

I've just read an article and it seems Brum are likely to get a similar "punishment" to that of Rochdale, namely a 6 point penalty suspended for two years.
So no punishment at all in reality.......that is unless they break more rules of course.
It's utter bollocks.

The EFL are toothless.

Brim situation is an order of magnitude more serious than Rochdale, where the ‘new owners’ weren’t actually in control of the club.

Suspect there’ll be a big financial penalty, bans and perhaps points off … but not this season.
