Bit dull after Josh went off.

Great team performance, but when Bowler was subbed we lost impetuous. £10M in summer 😁
Yes but match was won and not worth risking him on a yellow card. He also very much enjoyed the ovation and rightly so. CJ also loved his ovation and the chance to give subs game time was invaluable as first time we were comfortably in front

Said when he scored thats another million on the price. Offer him a new deal, tell him it's for his security and also so if he does go the club get properly compensated, doesn't mean he can't move on with the right bid.

But he's been to other clubs where it hasn't worked and we have a habit here of getting the best out of players the crowd, the energy and now Critch.

For me he should stay longer or at least sign the extension.

We certainly lost momentum. After the subs were made we were clearly second best.
Probably not just the subs but the situation too, 3-0 up and we have a tendency to sit back a bit, so we were king of playing out the game rather than completely going for them still.

Yep good point ,knowing how we don`t tend to go for the jugular I suppose the last 30 minutes was to be expected.

Agree with the OP, but it was the right decision. I’ve said constantly to his detractors who complained about his goals and assists, look how many we score with him on the pitch vs without him.

He creates space for others, effortlessly gets us 20, 30, 60 yards up the pitch with his runs, makes defences drop off, negates opposition left backs and left wingers from attacking and now is adding goals and assists on a consistent basis.

Enjoy him whilst we have him. Hope we are looking to get a contract infront of his with a release clause that works for him and us, an extra year or two and a pay raise that reflects his importance to us.

I think Critchley was spot on.Any game is only worth 3 points and with Coventry coming up they were the right calls at the right time.

Now is where Pool's due diligence playing through Covid cancellations really will pay dividends as others won't be as fresh.

The main difference today was that we now know we can win rather than thinking we can.

The balance of threat from left and right can only mean more plundering for Madine Lavery Yates and not least Bowler and Hamilton.

Last but by no means least it's hats off to Hamilton as well as Bowler(forgive the pun). Enjoy.

Shows how important Bowler and CJ were to this match that we lost most of our attacking threat when they were both subbed. Tbh I thought they were more scared of CJ. They didn’t have a clue how to cope with him

yep, nowhere near as threatening when Bowler went off but the game was won so it was the right decision.

Absolutly spot on sir.

Sublime first touch for his goal, he's pure class I'm out of my seat every time he gets the ball.

After a bit of a wobble after the substitutions I thought all three settled in nicely & we still offerd an attacking threat. Beesley won every header and took up some dangerous positions. Dale & Kirk both looked to take on defenders & get the ball in the box.

Yeah Dale took a few people on and I think we were more keeping possession seeing out thr game or a few crosses would have come in.

Kirk similar but he did put a ball across but no one there, maybe should have kept it in the corner.

But some good signs.

I liked the look of Beesley, as said pace for pressing more, wins headers and hopefully will score goals.
