Blackpool’s heaviest defeat

Birmingham 7-1 After going 1-0 up. New Year’s Eve 94 drove down on my own as my wife was working the night shift at the Vic and I’d be baby sitting. This was my night out, unbelievable.

Yep I wasn’t that one Phil Brown‘s finest hour !

We were 1—0 up up to about the 44th minute and went in 2—1 down

I think Andy Morrison was out injured some weren’t expecting much

Didn’t we lose 7-2 to Watford? I was in the pub by their 6th.
I stayed till the bitter end of that one and then had to travel home on a train full of joyous Bantams fans celebrating their win in the FA Cup over Chelsea. My only consolation was there was a Southport fan sat opposite me for some comfort, and they had been beaten also.

Adam and Southern. That proves Blackpool do well with a strong midfield. Midfield is key and that's why we are struggling at the moment. Until that is sorted we will carry on struggling

So the highest opposition goals (5) where we haven’t scored appears to be at home to Bury and away to Brentford. Not quite the slaughtering Man Utd got yesterday. UTMP

It was 12 bloody nil at home to sodding Barnstoneworth Utd! Ay up I went home to my cardboard box and destroyed it! Had to sleep on a park bench for a couple of days till I found a new one. At least there was some pigeon shit on the bench for me to eat.

On a mini bus from Lancaster. All but one left early or promptly. Ended up waiting ages for someone. Had a horrible night out in Hornby afterwards

as time goes by these things get exaggerated, the away end only held 18022 fans, we sold just under 17000, due to problems like leaves or something on the train track we had ( at a guess)
Less than 15000,also one coach broke down on the m55 so you can knock another 57 or so off the tally, 167 left at half time , around 300 left before the final whistle, so all in all it proved that our away support is pretty fickle, add into that 27 people eat out of date jellied eels as they had run out of pies & ended up in hospital with food poisoning, I’m ashamed to say I didn’t go as all this lower league football is shite & I only went to the premier league games

And the brum fans were still throwing coins at us as we left the ground and buses had a police escort to the motorway after!!

They were there usual selves, Twats of the highest order.
I’ve had issues at every midlands club I’ve been to apart from Villa.

I always thought it was 1-1 after quarter of an hour with Darren Bradshaw scoring both goals.

I think it was also 3-1 at half time.
Bradshaw scored twice, own goal and their equaliser inside quarter of a hour. Looking at the team that day it was a very good team. Ellis, Mellon and Quinny to name a few.
Then we had Melvin in nets, nice guy never a keeper 😃
