Following on from United’s hammering, just wondering what our heaviest defeat was where we haven’t scored.
Huddersfield and Small Heath both beat us 10-1 in the black and white days.Following on from United’s hammering, just wondering what our heaviest defeat was where we haven’t scored.
Fackn ell, yer right forgot about that one!Barnet 7-0 ?
You were obviously not one of the 10000 who turned upFackn ell, yer right forgot about that one!
Yep I wasn’t that one Phil Brown‘s finest hour !Birmingham 7-1 After going 1-0 up. New Year’s Eve 94 drove down on my own as my wife was working the night shift at the Vic and I’d be baby sitting. This was my night out, unbelievable.
I stayed till the bitter end of that one and then had to travel home on a train full of joyous Bantams fans celebrating their win in the FA Cup over Chelsea. My only consolation was there was a Southport fan sat opposite me for some comfort, and they had been beaten also.Didn’t we lose 7-2 to Watford? I was in the pub by their 6th.
20,000 at leastYou were obviously not one of the 10000 who turned up
Exactly20,000 at least
Adam and Southern. That proves Blackpool do well with a strong midfield. Midfield is key and that's why we are struggling at the moment. Until that is sorted we will carry on strugglingYep I wasn’t that one Phil Brown‘s finest hour !
We were 1—0 up up to about the 44th minute and went in 2—1 down
I think Andy Morrison was out injured some weren’t expecting much
Yes i flew over for it, we were winning 2-0 at half timeDidn’t we lose 7-2 to Watford? I was in the pub by their 6th.
I saw that game. The highest scoring game we've been in was 8 4 vs Charlton
I love this. Proper football knowledgeI saw that game.
Terrible weather, blowing a gale and raining.
Another one who wasn't at Barnet! So the highest opposition goals (5) where we haven’t scored appears to be at home to Bury and away to Brentford. Not quite the slaughtering Man Utd got yesterday. UTMP
No I just missed out on a ticket for the Barnet match. Sad that I wasn’t one the 17000 ‘Pool fans who were there.Another one who wasn't at Barnet!
Were you there ?Fackn ell, yer right forgot about that one!
Gotta be honest, no.Were you there ?
On a mini bus from Lancaster. All but one left early or promptly. Ended up waiting ages for someone. Had a horrible night out in Hornby afterwardsBirmingham 7-1 After going 1-0 up. New Year’s Eve 94 drove down on my own as my wife was working the night shift at the Vic and I’d be baby sitting. This was my night out, unbelievable.
Wasn't it 8Didn’t we lose 7-2 to Watford? I was in the pub by their 6th.
as time goes by these things get exaggerated, the away end only held 18022 fans, we sold just under 17000, due to problems like leaves or something on the train track we had ( at a guess)20,000 at least
And the brum fans were still throwing coins at us as we left the ground and buses had a police escort to the motorway after!!Birmingham 7-1 After going 1-0 up. Bradshaw scored twice, own goal and their equaliser inside quarter of a hour. Looking at the team that day it was a very good team. Ellis, Mellon and Quinny to name a few.I always thought it was 1-1 after quarter of an hour with Darren Bradshaw scoring both goals.
I think it was also 3-1 at half time.
Me neitherGotta be honest, no.
