I know its not what people want but yes it should be.
I get its unpalatable & obviously you have to find a balance but there is probably a call to consider keeping lockdown for certainly another couple of weeks .

tbf the gov rather fucked up 'again' they should have got on top of it more with earlier restrictions or a lockdown circuit breaker' in october before the cases & deaths got so out of control again.

In reality tier 3 means I still go to work, I can still shop for food, apparently I can now get my haircut , getting bit wild after a month😁,
But I can’t go to a live event or a pub...

Is lockdown the right terminology?..😎.
 
Realistically this is with us until at least mid Jan

My view that no area will come out if Tier 3 pre-xmas seems well-founded

Extract from today's Times front page

Tens of millions of people face tougher coronavirus restrictions until well into January after indoor socialising was banned across 99 per cent of England yesterday.

Boris Johnson defended the stricter tier system as the only way to avert a third national lockdown, promising that with regular reviews “your tier is not your destiny. Every area has the means of escape.”

Privately, however, government sources played down hopes that areas would move down the tiers before the impact of the Christmas loosening became clear, which is unlikely to be until mid-January. “I would not expect anyone to change tier until we’re into the new year,” one source said.
