Let's face it, despite getting the ball a bit more this keeps on happening. Looking poor on the ball too much too often, little to no goal threat.

Home games recently, we look, bar Fleetwood, unlikely to score.
 
Simms needs bringing off, he hasn't won a header all game. Lumping the ball over the top from the back has only allowed them too come on to us. I can't believe it took 30 mins and a goal for us to realise how poor that was
 
One dimensional, predictable and slow. Our play just isn't hurting them enough with Kaikai and Simms offering nothing so far. I'm hoping the conditions make it tougher for them to play their percentage football in the next 45. We have to produce a lot more in the 2nd half or this will be an easy 3pts for JFH, something that really boils my piss. Personally I'd drag Kaikai and Simms off and replace them with Ward and Embleton. Our best chance is to play football through them.

I suppose the only good thing is we're only one down. They look like they're tiring though and if we get one you never know.

Take Kaikai off and put Ward on. Mitchell playing well, Simms not involved at all.
 
Well that was fcuking dreadful. Not one of our defenders or midfielders has a pass in them, and consequently Yates and Simms play the whole time with their back to goal. Even then we can't get the ball to them. I'd say they were feeding off scraps, but I think they'd be grateful for scraps to be honest.
 
We need to come out with an absolute rocket up our arse, it would be great to see that. We usually come out WORSE but I don't think that is possible!
 
I am watching a re run of Pool v Wycombe last year. I would love to see Critch get his subs on now. Kai Kai off , Mitchell off and try again

Soon find out, there are loads you could hook. KaiKai has been anonymous, Dougall could not pass water, Simms totally bullied.. Put mitchell on the left and bring on ward/Gabriel
 
I'd either take Kaikai off or put him in the middle to try and get him involved. There's absolutely no point having him play wide midfield.
Tbf he's not the only one, most players have been abysmal so far.
I feel bad slagging Kaikai off and he probably gets it worse cos I think he could be so good for us but he always just seems out of the game. Frustrating doesn't come close.

But really, have we been crap all season - beating Peterborough away, doing the double over Portsmouth, taking 4 points of Hull, drawing with West Brom, Beating Wigan 5-0 etc. Great results for a team that has been playing crap all season ... if you said we should be doing better than we are, or there have been some very poor performances fair enough but we haven’t been crap all season!!
 
Think we were lucky to get to H/T only one down. If Critchley can’t make his subs immediately and improve our goal threat, he can fcuk right off as far as I’m concerned. As a coach, he’s achieved nothing apart from making us worse
 
I'm not usually a Statto but - "one out of eleven successful crosses"? Houston, we have a problem.......
