Blackpool v Burton Albion Official Matchnight Thread 16.03.21

Don’t worry Critchley will be getting his blackboard out at half time. He’s the most qualified coach in the country don’t you know

It’s not looking good tonight, surely at some point we are due a bit of luck and a proper comeback win this season. Come on the Pool.

Yeh, we just sit back!!
Might you not think that the opposition are better than us?

We surrender posession in every game. Just aimless hoofs to nobody. It is awful to watch and has been for a while. If you let the opposition have the ball. The by product of that is that they come forward and you drop back. It isn't rocket science!!!

I don't get Blackpool anymore. At the beginning of the season, we lost a few but there was a clear style of play and we at least looked decent. Now I don't even know what we are trying to do anymore. It's like we turn up and just hope somet happens. Virtue awful, Kaikai absent. Ward and Gabriel have been 2 of our better performers but are benched. It's all bizarre

Burton are working a lot harder than us. Buzzing around, closing down better, winning the 50/50’s, look twice as organised as us.
We look nice though, some strut around like Prem players, some great hairstyles, trying to play fancy killer passes when we can’t even pass a basic 10 yard.
Patience required though, we can’t criticise too much can we.

I just can't explain the absence of Ward and Gabriel. We really are ponderous.
