I did. I’m home now.Please go.
I thought Rogers was absolutely shocking until that brilliant pice of skill for the second goal. He looked unfit and incapable of passing a ball to a tangerine shirt.First 25 minutes without creating much we were at a higher tempo & winning on points only, then the poor ball up in the air that fell kindly to be poked in. The stupid antics of Madine probably cost us a chance of winning. As he divides opinion we'll see if we can adapt to life without him for the next 4 games I believe, if we manage ok he might find it hard to get back in. The second half we just about did enough to stay in the game & when Rogers came on he was all over the place in a good way & probably trying a bit too hard with a few misplaced passes. He grew into the game. Lyons continues to impress & although Bowler had few runs he did make a difference especially being in the right place for the second equaliser, that will do his confidence no end of good. Speaking of Goode not another hamstring Jesus wept! I went away quite happy at the end. We didn't get 3 points but we also didn't lose ground to them. Players all battled very hard & should be proud having salvaged a point with 10 men.
McCarthy knew tonight was going to be a scrap, which of our players would you have picked?Yep I honestly don't understand the line up or tactics
We need to get at the 2 on yellow cards for them
Poveda and Bowler to run at them is our only chance
Yep, it was a poor clearance but that doesn't excuse what followed. Either Madine or Connolly had plenty of time whilst the ball was in the air for one of them to get goalside of the scorer. If I were MM I would make the players watch their first goal 100 times tomorrow until they explain how a ball lumped 100 feet in the air could end up in our net. That doesn't even happen in children's football.
I'm not blaming the clearance. As you say, it's everything that happened after that, including Maxwell not coming for it, Madine completely missing it and everyone else ignoring it.Yep, it was a poor clearance but that doesn't excuse what followed. Either Madine or Connolly had plenty of time whilst the ball was in the air for one of them to get goalside of the scorer.
He put a lot of effort in getting back & helping out & trying to get forward, but he did start to look a bit leggy just before the bit of skill you mentioned. Yes he doesn't look match fit yet.I thought Rogers was absolutely shocking until that brilliant piece of skill for the second goal. He looked unfit and incapable of passing a ball to a tangerine shirt.
It really is, we just keep getting the worst ** owners time and time and time again, the rot has to stop next time surely?
An unfit 4 million pound player that's been drained of confidence.£4 million player sat on the bench ffs
Was you one of them?Maxwell shaking his head at the fans after goal.
True to formIn my own time. Want the opportunity to boo first.
No individual abuse is sad to see. They all deserved a boo at half time but singling out players is wrong. They might be shit but they are doing their best. Was you one of them?
it’s been a long time since we’ve played some proper football that’s for sure!Madine’s 3 or 4 match ban a blessing in disguise?
Maybe MM will be forced to ditch his long ball crap to actually play some proper football.
Also thought Poveda was looking good a few weeks ago- now he appears to be not in the reckoning following his failed lob at SouthamptonThis. ^
We knew it. Why the feck didn’t Mick?!
Is anybody at the club advising him?
It’s like he picked that team at random and drew all the short straws.
Maxwell isn't good enough. Crosses were coming into the six yard box and he just leaves them? He waits until the last second to come out when he obviously has to. He's not tall enough and can't command his area because of that. Grimshaw also isn't tall enough. Something to address in the summer.Next change should be Grimshaw for Maxwell IMO - Maxwell too hesitant and doesn't control the space in front of him IMO
Feels like a win to meFrom not thinking a point was enough before the game to thinking that is a season turning point. To come back again after the kick in the bollocks 2nd for them takes some doing with ten men.
So it’s OK for you to give the players shit but not others? You don’t know shit. They were worse than me. Giving Maxwell tons of abuse to the point where when we scored, he turned round to the fans and shook his head.
Agree with that but I'm seeing the suspension of Madine as a massive positive. Hopefully it forces McCarthy to play 4 2 3 1 with all our best players in their best positions.Madine the idiot. Out for 4 games now as it was his 2nd red of the season.
Start lyons Poveda bowler Rogers yates next match please
No no no no. It was ** diabolical. Worst football I’ve ever seen at this level and don’t you even dare try to pretend otherwise. We need to be beating dogshit like Huddersfield put out if we want to stay up.Get lost gloomsters and doomsters
Worst this, worst that, leaving at HT etc
It wasn't pretty but MM got then fired up for the second half and we showed some fight
Lyons will be good but has a mistake in him
Great to have Bowler back
COYP
No we don’t. He’s part of the problem. He isn’t as good as what’s on the bench. We've more problems than the keeper situation.

Leaving 4/5 of your best players on the bench is unacceptable.
I have to agree Im afraid. I want the lad to do well. You can't knock his effort. But like you said he did absolutely nothing until the goal. CJ to play for me all day long.I thought Rogers was absolutely shocking until that brilliant pice of skill for the second goal. He looked unfit and incapable of passing a ball to a tangerine shirt.
Everyone I spoke to said, at last, two central midfielders to allow the 4 going forward some leeway. It worked too. They created very little aside of the two goals we absolutely gifted them.I'll say it again.
Dreadful team selection. What was he thinking? Everyone I know said the same. Even our decent players looked crap in that format.
Shocking performance. We fail to do the simple things and constantly either lump the ball long or just give it to them. We were so bad we were actually laughing watching it at times.
Huddersfield were rank. We managed (somehow) to be worse.
Madine. Well he shouldn't be near the side again after that.

Going down to 10 wasn't part of the game plan, but second half I thought we set up to keep it at one, then give it a go for the last 15 while still in the game. That's exactly as it panned out.
Not much between Maxwell and Grimshaw as shot stoppers. Maxwell more vocal whilst Grimshaw is slightly better on high balls and distribution but significantly better as a 'sweeper'. That long ball over the top last night that Maxie didn't come for and their guy ran onto nearly cost us a goal but for Nelson getting across - Grimshaw would have dealt with easily. He is a good shot stopper but doesn't command his area. Grimshaw is a good shot stopper who does command his area more IMO
Connelly decided to sequence jump with Madine rather than watch the ball, if he had he would of easily cleared it.If I were MM I would make the players watch their first goal 100 times tomorrow until they explain how a ball lumped 100 feet in the air could end up in our net. That doesn't even happen in children's football.
He’s not the cause of our problems, that’s for sure.I don’t get this constant slagging of Maxwell, imo he’s far and away our best keeper.
