Tell me a game where a keeper has pulled off the same or more world class saves?
Kingson vs Stoke and Sunderland in the Prem.

I don't. Crazy subs, it upsets the defence who were organised and knew their jobs, he withdrew any attacking options, and put the pressure on us, and only Grimshaw prevented a late equiliser.
If they had scored it would have been the Managers fault.
My worry is he doesn't seem to learn from previous sub errors.
Exactly.. we won today but i left the ground angry. It really shouldn't be we should be out of site!!
I’m genuinely struggling to think of a keeper pulling off three worldies as I think he did today, I would love you to name one. Maybe Budgie at the very start of me watching the Pool as my memory doesn’t stretch that far these days.Hazi,I`ve seen many games where our keeper has had to make more good saves. Grimshaw deserves great credit today but your comment is way over the top......... as ever.
George Wood at Arsenal in an FA cup replay, he actually got a standing ovation for the whole stadium, best display of wonder saves I have ever seen.I’m genuinely struggling to think of a keeper pulling off three worldies as I think he did today, I would love you to name one. Not sure how much he knew about a lot of them but Kingson at Sunderland in the Premier League was unbeatable that day!I’m genuinely struggling to think of a keeper pulling off three worldies as I think he did today, I would love you to name one. Astonishing display that day.
Maxwell at Sunderland last season.
Joe Hart at Cheltenham allegedly
Completely agree. I saw the team sheet and it filled me with joy. 442 with kesh and bowler on the flanks . However when grettarson and connolly were brought on, i just couldnt understand it . 5 at the back and they had free run of the midfield and created their only two decent chances in the game within 4/5 minutes…thank god for grimshaw . Please please please critchley stop making these weird and senseless changes at pivotal timesI don't. I think you've both got a fair point. It wasn't the kind of game in which we were under unrelenting pressure, like Budgie v Everton, or Kinston v Sunderland, so the impression is that for Grimshaw had very little to do for the bulk of the game. Having said that, looking again at the highlights, he made at least three outstanding saves. I think we've found a very good keeper in the making. This lad could be really good.I’m genuinely struggling to think of a keeper pulling off three worldies as I think he did today, I would love you to name one. Yep, I thought the same. Change the personnel, for fresh legs, but keep the shape. Almost every time we try to sit back on a lead it goes tits up.Completely agree. Final ball when we hit teams on the break often let's us down, either wrong choice made or too much or not enough weight put on it.1-0 is a dangerous score that can allow any team back into the match whether they deserve it or not.
But it shouldn't have been 1-0. Keshi and Bowler got into brilliant positions but the crossfield passes were often poor. The supply to the forwards must improve if we are going to punish teams.
There are so many my memory blurs but I can go back further than you so as well as many more recent keepers making more than 2 or 3 top saves I can go back to Harry Thompson,Tony Waiters and Gordon West when I was a boy but 2 very good late saves is hardly the best ever in anyone`s book in a season let alone over 50 years. You obviously got a bit overexcited in the heat of the moment.I’m genuinely struggling to think of a keeper pulling off three worldies as I think he did today, I would love you to name one. Exactly this. I have to admit my faith in Critch is a little shaken after Hudds and now this. Absolutely bewildering decision to take off two outlets like that. He just surrendered territory to them.I don't. That said Grimshaw is doing very well and it will be hard if not impossible to leave him out eveen when Maxwell is fit again.
Calm down lad, You need to go and have a lie down now!!J

The ref gave us everything today TBH, that would of made a late equaliser for Hull all the more gallingWhat a breath of fresh air to have a decent ref today too. We controlled the game for 90 mins . Bowler, wintle superb. Solid at the back. Madine excellent as target man. Full of positives today. Kesh had an off day but he still gave it his all. Very good start to the year !
Keshi and Hubbie both looked knackered, I'm sure they will get a rest next weekI'all take the three points thank you but today we looked jaded. Anderson and Husband were not at the races IMO. I thought we played better against Boro. A pat on the back for Grimshaw and Bowler. Onwards and upwards up the pool

I was talking about his excessive excitement at the save, I mean, taking his glasses off. Clearly a whoosh moment for you. We've all said daft things in the heat of the moment. Like suggesting playing Sterling left wing, or Reece James being "undoubtedly our best left back".
As for Sterling, was you know I was talking about him playing on the wing, not as a full back, so in Critch's inverted system he would play on the left.
I think James probably is our best left back although Hubby is far more versatile and a great player generally.
Hahaha!Sticking by both statements then?
Think you should go for a lie down with Hazi.
Hubby played well and did a superb crossfield pass to Bowler, you must have missed itI'all take the three points thank you but today we looked jaded. Anderson and Husband were not at the races IMO. My sentiments exactly. After the week we’ve had ( Huddersfield & Middlesbrough ) today was all about the 3 points ensuring we keep the pressure on the teams below even though they have games in hand……so job done.
We now have 2 weeks before our next Championship game so time to rest, recuperate and hopefully get some injured players back.
In the meantime, The FA Cup will give an opportunity for some of the fringe players to get game time…CJ Hamilton springs to mind.
We also have 2 weeks in the transfer market.
Not a day to criticise/ pick holes in the performance but tactics very suspect in trying to defend and invite constant pressure.
UTMP……Great start to 2022 !
Matt Gilks v Newcastle away, 2-0 to us and he was incredible that day, pulled off save after saveGeorge Wood Pool 1 Forest 0 1976/77

I certainly did and if Hull had scored I think Jerry might have been quite close to "heavens gates" by now.Did anyone else think when Yates gave the ball away exactly where Mitchell did we were going to have a deja vu moment!!
That was the pass of the match but Hubby does need a rest. I'd tell both Keshi and Hubby to put their feet for a few days and if at all possible not play them next Saturday.Hubby played well and did a superb crossfield pass to Bowler, you must have missed it
Holloway used to do it all the time in the prem. Take off the 'out' ball, Varney in particular, which means the ball comes straight back in again, because it's nowhere else to go. It will ALWAYS invite pressure. Common sense. Abject stupidity or forgetful management. Take your pick.I don't. Crazy subs, it upsets the defence who were organised and knew their jobs, he withdrew any attacking options, and put the pressure on us, and only Grimshaw prevented a late equiliser.
