Blackpool v Lincoln City Official Matchday Thread 30.05.21

My phone has been hot with PNE, Rovers and Sheffield Utd banter from mates already. It’s good to be back!

Huge huge well done from your little bro's on the south coast. You boys are like a tidal wave, nothing stops you. We had a clubhouse full, yelling and roaring. (Ok, and drinking. ) UTMP.
Cheers - hope the testimonial was everything you hoped for.

Wonderful day. The whole of the club including players and fans showed exactly what they are -Quality. Our tangerine hearts bursting with pride.

We did seem to get more out of the ref than they did. Especially pleased he ignored the diving.
Another ref and VAR could have been a different story.

I'm absolutely buzzing thinking about next season. I'm so pleased for the manager, the players and all the staff. And for all the fans, especially those of you who are fanatical enough to follow the team all over the country and hardly miss a game. I admit I'm not in that league but nonetheless I'm still over the moon about it.
But most of all I'm pleased for Simon Sadler. He's come in and put the money up, then soon after was hit with the pandemic. He probably couldn't have timed it worse! I've no doubt he's lost a fair chunk of money due to that, but he's shown us what a good owner is all about.
The team's promotion is because of the owner. Our previous promotions were achieved despite the owner.
So well done Simon and my heartfelt thanks.

The Ref was OK. The only thing I had against him was that he booked a Pool player early on for a foul.
A few minutes later a Lincoln player committed an almost identical foul and wasn't booked.

Best day out for years.
What a fantastic team & team spirit NC has built.
How many other managers have, in their first ever season in charge of a league team, have won promotion?
Hope we keep him for a long time.

The ref let alot go for both teams. I was watching the extended highlights on Sky before and there's a point where Keshi gets taken out in MF, nothing given and then Ballard takes out Rogers and they get nothing either. Wasn't aimed at one team though, he did it with both.

Still rocking after yesterdays win. Had to cutail the celebrations after 2 bottles of sparkling wine & numerouse beers whilst listening to the match on Talksport2...(in France and the only place I could find the commentary)

Put Black Eyed Peas on continuose loop and frightened the life out of my chickens when I ran out into the garden to let rip loads of wild cheering and hollering...good job my nearest neighbour is half a mile away...lol

Woke this morning with a sore head and hoarse throat....had to sober up PDQ as I had to drive to Paris for work...when legaly safe to do so...

Enjoy the afterglow/fuzzy feeling..I know I will.

Just coming up for air after a fabulous three day bender. Atmosphere was magnificent from the Seasiders and the boys put a proper shift in to get us back to the championship. A massive thanks to the players Neil Critchley and of course Mr Simon Sadler. I even managed to get myself on the TV. #UTMP🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡
