We were brilliant for much of that, just a poor sloppy start cost us and Dembele should have won it.

Proud of the performance. 👏

We had 2 extra games since the last game and yet Forest were falling apart all over the pitch.

Monstrous effort and deserved much more.
 
Oh well. A decent effort in the end. Dembele almost clinched it. A disappointing attendance really though. All eyes on our next away game now 🤞.
 
Full credit to the team i thought they did really well, it was never going to easy and a little bit of class tells in the end,, but well happy with that performance
 
To summarise, shite first hour, great second hour.
Bad giving all 3 goals away, a mixture of awful defending and shite marking.
Going forward 2nd hour, miles better and that's what Critchley has to promote within the side for the rest of the season.
Connolly and Husband need a rest

Great performance after that goal. The players deserve a lot of credit. If being over critical, mistakes and our general defending is costing us and ongoing problem. It really does need sorting. Can't knock them for their efforts though. If only Dembele....

That’s due to injuries. Still had Chris Wood, Hudson Odoi, etc.
Yes they were the better team first half, but we took over in the second.
At the end of the day we’re just little old Blackpool in lowly League 1 battling against Premier opposition.

Really don't get why some people get offended if a poster says we were shit which we were. It's like someone getting offended for derogatory comments about a family member or something.
 
The dilemma is that with Lavery and Joseph we can press and defend high up the pitch. You can't take Rhodes out, only natural finisher.
 
Just sat off them too much for their winner.It was a moment of daydreaming and our intensity seemed to just suddenly hit a wall.Joseph let the ball go down the line into the corner and no pool player reacted to the Forest player running into that space.Connolly eventually came out to it.

Then the ball is in our penalty area Albie Morgan and others understandably dare not make the challenge and I’ll need to see it back if Wood was offside.

The fact the players have had to raise their levels for every single second of this match can only give us a lift in the league.Playing against that quality and then facing a Bristol Rovers side should hopefully see us going there and taking our levels from tonight into that game.

"Solid for 60 minutes"??? Are you on drugs? We were 2-0 down and defending horribly with a lone striker and nothing in midfield. A great goal, good subs and a great effort to get it back to 2-2. and should/could have won it with Dembele. We were knackered in extra time and it was no surprise they snuck one, a shame but we have a massive game on Saturday. Forest weren't that good but they are in the 4th round. Great cup tie though.

You get the point. Most people, including me, have been praising the performance and giving credit where due. The first hour or so wasn't great and this was also correctly highlighted. What's your issue? It's that bleach again isn't it.

Can you never be happy, even a clueless idiot like you can't knock that performance and effort, even with your Blackpool Mechanics playing experience you must see positives in tonight

Good entertaining game tonight, trust us to make hard work of it when we were cruising really and extra time was really not what either team would've wanted.

You showed a lot of guts over the two legs so fair play. We had moments and were generally OK-ish but not as good as the pundits were making out. For a thrown-together team, in freezing conditions and on a bumpy, frozen pitch I can't complain too much that the job was eventually done.

So Rhodes should have played a full 90 minutes which was actually 111 minutes( 1 minute additional time in the first half and 10 in the second) and a further 30 minutes plus a further 4 ( for the additional minutes) in extra time.
Not the best policy me thinks and both Lavery and Joseph who needed the game time both came on and played well.
All credit to all the players tonight for putting a shift in but seems the likes of you would rather be critical.
Anyway I’m off for a good night sleep hopefully and you need to be up to get your kids to school,by the way how old are they again😂
