dont agree with Keogh we would be playing just as deep if not deeperMissing Keogh here. With his organisation we would no way be playing this deep
Coz he’s known as that world wide
I wasn't at the match, but it looks like we are going to have problems scoring again.3 points.

Anyone in mind with that comment?A wins a win please shut up with any negative comments
for all of their possession in the second half you cant say they created very much. That'll do.
We looked good in patches, Reading aren't all that, but it's an opening day victory
And only looked like 600 Reading fans too.10800 not bad for the holiday season
There’s a few. I was going to start a post with who’s the most negative poster during a match? I have a list of threeAnyone in mind with that comment?
On another day we could have easily had 3 or 4 goals based on the chances we had and then we’d all be raving about the performance instead how we just scraped through today. But you’re right, goals win games and not every game will be won by us only scoring onceI wasn't at the match, but it looks like we are going to have problems scoring again.
This was reverse psychology...... it worked!!!You can see 1-2 happening
thiught virtue had a good game, his movement and carey's was causing reading all kinds of problems in the first halfHard fought 3 points. A bit disappointed with Carey and Virtue but a good battling effort.
we hit the post once, Lumley had a couple of saves to make, Madine should have put a header away, couple of other chances went begging. we got into enough good positions to score. we should have probably put the game to bed in the first twenty five mins. the final ball was often a bit off.I wasn't at the match, but it looks like we are going to have problems scoring again.
Listening to Radio Berkshire, they said Reading only had one sub who they could see coming on in Shane Long, who duly did.Interesting that we made five subs and Reading could only manage one, they've got a very thin squad and I think it's going to be a long season for them.
I thought Madine did well and I think he is going to play a lot of gamesAlso, I really really really hope that Appleton sees that Madine just isn't a good fit in his 4-3-3, would much prefer Yates as a sole striker.
Depends on how you see it Phil. Albeit we were up against it second half, we defended really well and Grimmy didn't have that much to do.Good first half poor second half
Need some more muscle in centre midfield as they controlled the second half
I also thought Madine had one of his better games and/but should of stuck that header awayI thought Madine did well and I think he is going to play a lot of games
