You need to look a bit deeper and chances v goals scored. The fact is, we don’t create enough and that’s because we don’t have the right balance across the middle. We cannot control games.

Gaz does what he does, he’s a handful but I think he’s over-played. Beesley is a good player and needs games. Jerry is a class act at this level, but playing out of position.

We are not a million miles away and 3 good signings will help significantly. Key is our central midfield.

I'd agree, he has produced some flashes but to suggest Appleton has improved him, I'm just not having it.

He was marginally better than Patino, who was rank. On his recent performances he does not deserve his place in the side. Carey is ok but alongside a more experienced tackler!
