Blackpool v Stoke City Official Matchnight Thread 03.11.21

We never seem to have enough possession or time on the ball in midfield. Garbutt is as hard as nails, but how good is he really? Mitchell added very little and was a passenger. At least Bowler takes them on and seems to keep possession ... most of the time. BFC is going in the right direction, and we're in a good place. The fact that we're a bit unhappy shows ambition and expectation. NC and the team would expect that from our fans.

Just looked at the goal again and paused the footage at the point of the free kick delivery and it does look offside. The big lump at the back when the ball was kicked was off, and Fletcher the goal scorer was about a metre ahead of him. I guess Fletcher wasn't deemed to be 'live' until the cross came in and he didn't look ahead when this happened. But the key point is that the lino should have flagged the big lump who made the initial shot. Having said that our defensive shape was not good for this free kick. The two Blackpool players closest to the big lump the wrong side and ahead of the rest of the defensive line. I guess this is a clear example of where we missed Keogh's organisational skills ...

Well if you can't see that he got it wrong last night you should choose another sport to follow. I guess you failed to notice the impact Bowler had late on.
Selecting Mitchell and Carey was a mistake.
And if your so knowledgeable, maybe we should sack him and replace him with yours truly.

Funny how if we lose a game, we know better than Critchley. ‘Hey Neil, did you not think to throw Bowler on earlier? Can I have a cut of your wages for my professional tactical advice? I’ve been watching football for a while, you know!’.

Has anyone actually stated they know better than Critchley or are you just making that up? Football is about opinions. What part of that don't you understand? Or are you saying Critchley gets every single decision right and we shouldn't discuss or question it?

Football is indeed all about opinions and that’s what I’m on this board for. I do think Critchley made the subs he thought best at the time. Obviously we’re all disappointed with the result as we were on cloud 9 for what seemed like a good while.

Anyway. It would be boring to speak to someone who thinks the same as I do. I respect your opinion and you can respect mine if you want to.

Like I said no one is saying they know better than Critchley which is what you were claiming, we were and are all just offering our opinions. Which is what this msb is for.

Time you appreciated my talents and the circles I move in. Always got time for the less fortunate, such as yourself, in an attempt to bring you up to speed and improve your quality of life.
I've also got time for the less fortunate as i don't mind a kick from an ass.
Might i suggest going round in circles rather than the ones you supposedly move in.

I expect vultures are circulating above your poor self. Lets see how this evening's game goes and then we can spar again 😂

Just caught up with Critch’s post match sky interview…he didn’t hold back about the piss poor offficiating tonight and previously in this game. I guess he’ll be handed a fine for saying the refs decision making all game was poor. He was really really annoyed and with good reason. We was robbed.

I'll try not to break your tangerine spectacles. I'm sure you'll be in my firing line tomorrow evening.
Call yourself a Blackpool fan but in reality your a disgrace. Only you would hold a private GP clinic on a Saturday morning instead of ringing NC to instruct him on which team to choose and what tactics to employ so as to enable us to secure 3 points. Firing line my arse. 😂
ps: Still waiting to see your gun firing. Having trouble in that department are we. 😀

64 years of my supporting and watching Pool proves my credentials. Try getting your arse out of your armchair and doing the same, or does a lack of backbone make that too difficult. Spineless creature.

Good morning Mr Grumpy. I've been supporting the mighty for 50yrs plus so nice try bit no cigar. Not my fault that you were born a long time before me. Any chance of an early appointment to sort out my lack of backbone. Vlakas.
ps: 62years and counting but supported the mighty for 64 .You need to see a GP (oh, hang on a minute) 😜

The GP bit is a mystery to me. 71 and 64 of those years supporting, watching and still a season ticket holder although I live 250 miles away. Back home today for me and more sparring later!

Fluent in a few European languages but not Greek. Enjoyed hols in Crete and Rhodes in the early 2000's.
Took me and the boss roughly 4yrs to learn the language. Nothing better than sitting in a taverna speaking English to fellow holidaymakers and then ordering all your food, wine etc in Greek. It's a conversation starter especially if your wearing the colours of the mighty.
