Probably. Also though he had a decent game in the 1-1 at Oxford he let the scorer slip by him to get to a cross, seemed to be left out after. But I felt he had a lot of decent performances even though left out a lot.

You have to put into context that Wycombe are playing for nothing, they are safe mid table and rested 6 of their regulars today because they are at Wembley next game and they lost their captain to injury. We should have been able to batter them but they honestly could and should have won that.

NC clearly has poor or no man-management skills. It doesn't help having Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee as assistants. One of his worse mistakes was making Norburn captain before we had played a meaningful game. I can't help but feel that this put a few noses out of joint before the season started.

Yep my last game of the season. Dull right from the off.

Critch has failed in his objective. We had the opportunity after a turgid season to grab the bull by the horns and go for it but instead we got a bunch of fairies swanning about it like they had never met before. It’s all on Critch and he needs to do the right thing and walk.

We have some good players in the squad and with a proper manager we would have easily made the play-offs.

Dobbie or someone like Duff or Williamson would be my pick.

Answer is that we can be fair and even handed in the assessment of Critchley this season. He has made Bloomfield something of a fortress (relative to competitors) but away form has killed us. Overall have our reasonable expectations been met? I would say no. This is not a debate about ‘entitlement’ which is a nonsense word when talking about Blackpool fans. We are not an entitled fanbase. We are however allowed to have expectations on what we are being sold aren’t we, within the parameters of 46 football matches which are to some extent a lottery in terms of outcomes. The absence of expectation , especially in league 1, would devalue the experience of watching the team would it not?
He will have next season, and I would have thought all Blackpool fans take the view that it is a reasonable expectation that we make top 6. That is clearly the expectation of those running the club and so should fairly be shared by the fanbase.

Expectations of course we are allowed to have them but i do think that peoples expectations were to high this season, other than that being honest i can't disagree with anything you have said. Very well put actually
