Probably. Also though he had a decent game in the 1-1 at Oxford he let the scorer slip by him to get to a cross, seemed to be left out after. But I felt he had a lot of decent performances even though left out a lot.Weren't it Dale who said earlier in the season something like it's great when we are allowed to play attacking football
Maybe that's why Critchley got rid of him
get the feeling that he and keeny werent on the best of terms eitherAnd this is one of Critchley's biggest issues. He has a falling out with a player and let's that affect their working relationship. He would bench Messi if they had a falling out. He did it with Yates in the Championship as well.
Think the doctor was being sarcasticWould he want to stay??
Surprised by that. I was under the impression the majority of the fan base supported him and it was just a few entitled doom mongers on here who had had enough.Abysmal.
I see Critch failed to read the room and is stood in front of the North clapping whilst they boo him.
That should tell the owner something - that’s not us old moaners on here, that’s the flesh and blood Kop faithful!!That's it then. Absolutely shocking tactically. Critchley has to go, he has just stood there for a minute applauding the Kop and been booed very very loudly, Get Dobbie in to the end of the season and get this idiot out of our club.
Maybe so - but it’s a valid question. How many will want to stay??Think the doctor was being sarcastic
So you mean me then??That should tell the owner something - that’s not us old moaners on here, that’s the flesh and blood Kop faithful!!
I am of course speaking for myself with the ‘old’ comment
Absolutely still on. Win all 5 takes us to 76pts. Lincoln or Oxford will need to win 3 and draw 1 of their remaining 5 games to deny us.No no no, there's still 5 games to go, we can still do this
They had 3 great chances too, better than ours.3 good chances after the substitutions were made but no real goal scorers in the side
Should have put one of them away
He's league 2 standard at best.Indicative at the end , Beesley shoots straight at the goalkeeper at the end.Dembele unmarked to his right, hasnt got the nous to pass it to him.
We had the possession.I wonder what his post match analysis will be.
Moments and fine marginsI wonder what his post match analysis will be.
Oh you missed the first shot!Left after 82 min absolute awful performance
Deluded.... wouldn't mind if we were playing well. We ain't creating or playing well and our manager does a lottery starting line up most games... two hopes and one of them is Bob...Absolutely still on. Win all 5 takes us to 76pts. Lincoln or Oxford will need to win 3 and draw 1 of their remaining 5 games to deny us.
Fair play to you for attending and waiting so long before leaving. That was tedious rubbish. Completely lacking in confidence. I left on 78 mins. Not because I was certain we wouldn't score. I was just totally embarrassed by what I was watching.
They willLincoln or Oxford will need to win 3 and draw 1 of their remaining 5 games to deny us
At Derby he passed and Dembele fluffed it big styleIndicative at the end , Beesley shoots straight at the goalkeeper at the end.Dembele unmarked to his right, hasnt got the nous to pass it to him.
Apparently someone directed a racist remark towards Forino from the Armfield stand.Discriminatory remark made in the south stand and anyone found to be involved in “criminal activity” will be reported to the police
NC clearly has poor or no man-management skills. It doesn't help having Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee as assistants. One of his worse mistakes was making Norburn captain before we had played a meaningful game. I can't help but feel that this put a few noses out of joint before the season started. And this is one of Critchley's biggest issues. He has a falling out with a player and let's that affect their working relationship. He would bench Messi if they had a falling out. He did it with Yates in the Championship as well.
Perhaps he didn’t do anything to make him the best. Perhaps the others did nothing and were worse.Struggling to remember what he did that made him our best?
Utter garbageBeesley you idiot. Striker can't hit a corner from 18 yards out
So never pass to him again. Yes he could still have missed....At Derby he passed and Dembele fluffed it big style
Described as " impressive" today in the Oxford Mail, playing in a front 3.Weren't it Dale who said earlier in the season something like it's great when we are allowed to play attacking football
Maybe that's why Critchley got rid of him
Let's face it at present our club is shit and regressing fast under the incompetent Sadler & Critchley. Thousands will stay away next season if Clueless remains in charge.i have said it many times but the players have to take some responsibility, today was dire no shots on goal first 70 mins ish, dire performance it looked like the players already had one foot on the beach for their holidays, it looked laboured and slow, crowd understandably quiet.
IMO the season is over, he isn't going anywhere so get rid of the deadwood and let him rebuild, i never expected to go up this season but was hoping like the rest of us, It is a project so roll on next season
Most projects go forward and progress. Scooter man moved up the pitch quickerI could get forward quicker than most of the Blackpool side and I'm 2 stone overweight!!!
Agreed - the dullest it’s been all seasonAlso, the atmosphere in the ground today was one of the worst I've seen in a long long time. Critchley and his pathetic tactics have sucked the life out of the place.
IdiotOne of the shittest Blackpool teams in years.
Sorry, I should have said one of the shittest managers in years.Idiot
Only time will tell on that one, it seems on here to a lot that Sadler and Critchley are to blame, players have to take responsibility as well.Let's face it at present our club is shit and regressing fast under the incompetent Sadler & Critchley. Are the players picking themselves out of position?Only time will tell on that one, it seems on here to a lot that Sadler and Critchley are to blame, players have to take responsibility as well.
Your opinion and that's fine, the players are the ones on the pitch and they know the system and formations. Are the players picking themselves out of position?
Are the players picking a formation that limits themselves?
Are the players giving terrible contracts to poor players?
Are the players allowing attacking exciting players to go out on loan or sell leaving us with scraps?
No, they aren't. The players have a small small part of blame but the majority lies with Simon and Neil.
Answer is that we can be fair and even handed in the assessment of Critchley this season. He has made Bloomfield something of a fortress (relative to competitors) but away form has killed us. Overall have our reasonable expectations been met? I would say no. This is not a debate about ‘entitlement’ which is a nonsense word when talking about Blackpool fans. We are not an entitled fanbase. We are however allowed to have expectations on what we are being sold aren’t we, within the parameters of 46 football matches which are to some extent a lottery in terms of outcomes. The absence of expectation , especially in league 1, would devalue the experience of watching the team would it not?Your opinion and that's fine, the players are the ones on the pitch and they know the system and formations.
So who do you credit for a half decent season at home then.
Expectations of course we are allowed to have them but i do think that peoples expectations were to high this season, other than that being honest i can't disagree with anything you have said. Very well put actuallyAnswer is that we can be fair and even handed in the assessment of Critchley this season. He will have next season, and I would have thought all Blackpool fans take the view that it is a reasonable expectation that we make top 6. That is clearly the expectation of those running the club and so should fairly be shared by the fanbase.
