You are referring to a fringe organisation that has little more than the most peripheral impact on anything. They don't interest me. Conversely, the wider concept "Black lives matter" is, I believe, a noble idea.

Maybe the UK should have had a different name for this cause to distance itself from the American organisation. The history of ethnic minorities in this country is different to the majority of black Americans so doing its own thing would make sense to me.

That was football specific, BLM isn't restricted to just sport.
The black people of Britain obviously wanted a voice, many of them thought BLM was the right way to go, I'd probably have gone with something more relevant to the UK but I'm a white northerner who's family have been here for hundreds of years so it's not my call.

You get the point though. The UK already had their own organisations - both sport related and general.

No one would care if the initial goal was just about equality.

Ok the issues didn't apply here anywhere near as much, so it's didn't work over here really.

But the group have some dodgy goals as stated and keep showing themselves up.

They haven't helped make society more together it's more divided.

You are here and now delighting in the murder of 1,500+ Israelis, you might try to couch it in other terms, but no person who truly cared about what happened last Saturday would describe anyone who questions an organization that says "“‘Black lives matter’ and ‘I stand with Israel’ are two things that can’t coexist.”" as RWNJs, or use it as a tool to "taunt the afflicted", so by your posts you have made your position absolutely clear.
