Bolton away

Bolton away isn't too far round the corner on Saturday 11 November. Anyone know when tickets are due to be released?

How many do you reckon we will sell for this, considering it's one that most will want to go to in terms of "derby" feel. I see Carlisle are taking 4,000 their this weekend

Forget where I've heard it but believe their doing a Knob End and only giving us the upper tier because they're only getting 2000 @ Bloomfield Rd

Was always going to be the problem giving the bigger clubs just 2k for the east stand and you can’t blame them it’s always us that starts this tit for tat ticket stuff then our fans moan like hell afterwards when we get reduced ticket numbers for away games.

I thought it was that dull no one would want to go😉

'... there this weekend ...'

Where you read that? They give Carlisle 4,500 this weekend and they won't get that at Brunton Park either.
No idea how big Carlisle away end is.

We could, but we have decided not to.

- the North
- Certain players not wanting too many away fans.
- Certain fans wanting to secure 'home advantage'.

A very good friend of mine has a box at Bolton and he has invited me for the day. Pre-match meal and drinks etc
Two provisos
I don’t wear any colours (no problem)
I don’t cheer if we score. (Cannot guarantee that but we all know what it’s like when an away supporter is amongst the home fans).

You're in a box FFS! There's 10/12 in there... I'd fancy my chances and go for it when we score! 😂

If he has a box, what's the problem! I'd sit behind the glass and go ballistic when we score 😁

If the football authorities are lookng at the behaviour of our fans (flares, objects thrown, coach windows put in, etc), surely it is less likely we will get the full allocation?

I had a complimentary ticket behind the Pool dugout when we drew 2-2 in the Prem.

Was difficult to keep calm when we scored.
We had some freebies in corporate on a table with some Bolton supporters & had been officially warned not to cheer if we scored, which I thought a bit rich as we'd not intentionally bought tickets in the away end. It was funny though at HT us winning, back at the table. At 2-2 near the end had we scored a winner I'd have taken getting ejected. 😂

Could do with them having a few more defeats before then - the natives are restless and as much as I love Eve - a couple of early goals at their place and they wouldn't be happy!

Ticket details for Blackpool's trip to Bolton Wanderers can now be confirmed.
The Seasiders have been given an initial allocation of 2645 tickets for the Sky Bet League One fixture, which is due to take place on Saturday 11 November, kick-off 3pm. Tickets will go on priority sale to season ticket holders first, who can purchase for family members and friends, from tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am, before going on general sale the following week on Thursday 26 October. Ticket prices for the fixture are below:
  • Adults - £30
  • Over 65's and U23's - £25
  • U18's - £19
  • U12's - £12
Tickets will be available in-store, online here or by phoning the Ticket Office on 01253 599745.
Please note, there will be no pay on the day option for this match. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
There are ten pairs of wheelchair tickets available. Ambulant disabled supporters pay the relevant ticket price and are entitled to a carer ticket free of charge.

Bit strange as to why Season Ticket Holders have a 1 WEEK window to purchase for family and friends as well as themselves. What about us who don't have a season ticket?

Very strange way of doing it. Not a fan of that.

I've noticed Celtic and Rangers are having a similar issue but theirs has gotten so bad, they give each other about 200 tickets or something ludicrous. Swear last season they didn't even have away fans as the tit for tat has gotten that bad.

I'd say for Bolton that is actually quite lenient. Normally for a big game like that they'd stage it like: Season ticket holders + 2 away games, and work out down from there to general sale.

To be fair though, considering this is an initial allocation, I'd assume we'll be given more if we sell out so might have made more sense just to release it straight to general sale.

Very strange , season ticket holders can purchase for family and friends , but apparently not for someone who isn’t a friend !!

I think the price will affect - only 2 of our usual group of 5 have said they're going. Know it's only an extra fiver, if that, £30 is just a psychological barrier.

Not that it affects me but it's interesting they are offering family tickets but not for us.

Maybe it's the top tier that's getting round it, meaning we're in the bottom tier.

£30 is ridiculous but is that what we're charging them? Suppose you reap what you sow.

Let's get that initial allocation sold out, last time we played Bolton midweek for both fixtures so with it being a Saturday let's get that whole stand sold. Massive game as it's Bolton and they're a promotion rival.
Somehow don’t think we will sell out

I think the friends and family offer might get a few extra sales. I’ll be taking my brother and maybe another two.
