Boris drops out

According to Peston the other day, the evidence provided by people working inside Downing St at the time is damning.
Probably a bit of payback for when he tried to blame them for all the piss ups.

It has been said that for lying to HMQ about proroguing Parliament Bozo will never be made a Knight of the Garter. And if the Parliamentary Privileges Committee censures him for purposely lying to the House such that he gets a ban and/or a recall petition is launched, then Bozo may never be elevated to the Lords.

Both honours are usually standard for ex-PMs, but Bozo might find he becomes socially ostracised, a man without honour and shunned in “polite society”. One can hope. It’s a pity he gave up his USA citizenship or he could have been offloaded there.

Whether true or not, the facts that he’s still under investigation after being sacked from office were no doubt the real reasons he was told to back off, by the inner circle. His public reply was pure spin.

Sooty I’m just Quoting a Fact that’s been announced…he did have the numbers…
He could also have probably won against Sunak in a Conservative members vote and been Prime Minister again…
Chaos would no doubt follow but that’s another story. 😀

The real issue is that there are a number of posters on this thread who were claiming that "100 votes" was another of Boris's lies, these lies that he apparently makes all the time, but they are never actually able to point to.

Basically, they're just making s*** up.
