Bottom 6

After everything we’ve witnessed, does anyone look at the small gap of points that separate us from going down and think “we can still do this”

And then it hits you how bad we are and that I just don’t think we can stay up
I think that thought is going on in innumerable minds this evening. Where is the inspiration going to come from? Not from leaving Fiorini out of the squad, that's for sure....

Word is that Fiorini shit himself but today needed men, not boys, and sadly we were short of men to step up and take the game on! Connolly and Dougal have become L2 standard of late and Keshi was swamped being the only one trying to get the ball moving forward. For the whole 90 mins there wasn't a single decent ball in to the box and that is unacceptable!

The maths says we can still stay up but the recent performances say we'll be lucky to finish above bottom place!

Yep , despite the fact that it's achievable "on paper" and it would feel as good as promotion at this point if we somehow won 3-4 on the bounce it just seems incredibly unlikely.

If the correct team are put on the pitch from minute one I think we could stay up. McCarthys tactics are so so negative I think we will go down
Leaving best players on the bench and even out of the squad entirely is just ridiculous
Players being played out position when they don’t need to be at all. Seen this since McCarthy took the job and quite frankly I’m sick of it

Like most of the season physically, men against boys,

We had chances, two gilt edged headers second half plus one or two other bits.

Rogers looks big and tricky with the ball at his feet.

I'm not defending the performance but there were a couple of very decent crosses into the box by James husband both missed like.

we prob need to win at least 4 of the 7 left. It's probably taken us 25-ish games to get the last 4 wins.

Cj left wingback - been done before and it didn’t work then so why now

Fiorini out of the squad

Missing Thorniley

Only one fit striker

Missing Centre backs

Many of the players we bought in to help injures - Bridcirt , Trybull , Goode etc

Keshi Anderson starting after only just coming back from Injury

Bad tactics , team selection from the management

Bad decisions from the board (really bad - ultimately this lands at their feet )

The list goes on - wishes we could stay up - but after watching yesterday seems unlikely . But this is Blackpool we are talking about and stranger things have happened .
7 games left , I’m all for having one last go - get rid of MM and let Dobbie stand in . We know he would pick the best team
