Back to florists but will he get a game? Can we (or should we) get him back on loan? After all, it was Critchley who plucked him from second string obscurity and gave him a platform to excell. He didn't pull up any trees in his second spell with us so will he attract a championship club? He could have a brilliant season with us then forest could sell and make a nice profit so good business for them.

He needs to rejoin the puppetmaster.

Wasn’t played to his strengths under McCarthy but he improved under Dobbie in a more attacking role.

I agree I can’t see him moving to League 1 but he would flourish again in an attacking role wherever he ends up at.

He was already improving under Dobbie and his confidence was coming back. I’m not sure he, or Forest would want him to be playing in league 1

It's quite a conundrum, he was good mainly in spells for us then a ££££ move that apart from the dosh was a disaster, a return that he'd probably rather forget. I have no idea where he goes from here & a lot depends on his attitude. I really can't see him playing for Forest.

He's still got enough of a shine from his great moments for us that a championship club will take him on loan, I think. Blackburn were very keen on him for one , I'd love to see him running at league one defenders but I think that's it for us and Josh.

Has he gone back to Forest or Olympiacos - I know he was on loan there but isn't that Forest's feeder club?
Can't imagine he'd want to go back. Hope his agent has his best interests at heart.
If he came to us next season I think he'd tear up League One and get his confidence back.

I don't think he'll go back to Olympiacos, unless it's to get his flip flops back. That's what I mean about regaining his best form and monetary value, under Critchley, who basically rescued his career. Would be a win win for us and Forest.

Don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility him ending back up here next season. Unlikely as you would think some Championship clubs will surely take a punt on him.

He would of course tear league one up if he came back to us to work under Critch again.

He was well respected.
I've some friends who support Bristol City and they kept on about him - he must've murdered their defence - didn't see that game.
There's lots of noise at the mo - and maybe he'll end up back with NC.
If he's reading this then let's hope he fancies a promotion push with us.

I'm sure he'll be loaned to a Championship club like WBA or Norwich.
If Forest are not going to use him again this season surely it would be better all round if they sold him. Whether it’s us or somewhere else, at this stage of his career he must want some security and the opportunity to fulfil his potential.

Forest will sell him without him having played a game. They will have more money to spend next season and will be looking for better quality.

If he could work on his right foot more he’d be better armed. He’s still awesome and scores goals regularly as he gets into good positions.

He’s just got to improve his right side as without this they’ll keep showing him either on to his right or double up inside his left boot. He’s not alone in this though - majority of world class wide men are incredibly one footed but still learn enough to wrong foot the full back.

Do we have a sell on clause?

I don’t see any club wanting him in the championship based on last season unless he’s a roll of the dice for a relegated threatened team in January. Kicking his heels unless he comes on loan to us and gets his career back on track

His basic awareness of other players and his basic decision making isn't great either. For every time he does something good he gives the ball away cheaply three or four times.

A sell on option isn’t likely to benefit us as surely he’s not going to be sold at a profit?
Forest will be lucky to get 20% of their money back

But if this wasn't the case he'd be in the PL.

If he only does a couple of great things in a match that's all you need.

Anyway, no chance he's coming back here.

The next time he steps into BR will be wearing a different badge, but he’ll still get an applause from me.

Wingers are big confidence players, the second spell with us last season was just the wrong time and didn’t reflect his natural talent.

well said, FY8. Costero Pod is some-one who has done nothing but put Bowler down pretty much from since he joined us.

Bowler knows Blackpool, knows the club, knows the players and knows he desperately needs to get his career back on track. In terms of a loan for 12 months I don't think it would be the worst idea for his career.
