Brad Holmes Debut

Should have been on the bench a few games before he appeared and should have had some time on the pitch, against Crewe or Wimbledon.
 
I really hope one of this great bunch of youngsters get their opportunity.

We are getting into the business end of the season so I'm doubting any of them will get the opportunity based on the fact we are on fire. Any substitutions will be likely the current regular playing squad IMO.

Not saying they shouldn't be playing - far from it. Just my opinion on what will actually happen. I think if the season was over for us these lads would be getting starts.
 
If we’re out of sight, he should get on, both for the manager to see how he performs and for his confidence.
 
Agree with the post above. It will be a dog fight which may be settled by one goal either way. I don’t believe the. Propaganda. I reckon Yates AND Embleton will be missing, and it will be a long afternoon. A vigorous High Press may keep them at bay, but we may have to wait a long time for a goal, if indeed we can score one. 😘
 
Have thought he should have been given a few minutes in the last couple of games, 2 goals up going into injury time why not. In that scenario he should get the nod ahead of Simms.
 
I think if it's a tight game, the energy and fearlessness of a young lad might be exactly what we need in the final stages.

The Academy seems to be short of numbers as they only named 4 on the bench this morning, Apter, and Holmes both seem to be with the first team. Can see both of them featuring on the bench today.
 
Let,s hope that it,s nothing serious if he has ,think we have had our fair share already this season
