Brannagan off

Can some one at Avftt ban that clown CalderwoodCritchleyWont.

He’s literally jinxed every transfer he’s purported to be ITK on. As soon as he says somethings happening it falls through.

Please AVFTT gods, after we sacrifice him we’ll then do a rain dance at the Armfield mural.

Took one look at Squiresgate and said no thank you.
Seems like everything you say is spot on. Is this fact or just your opinion? Because if that’s true and we couldn’t persuade him to sign I think somethings not quiet working int he club.

However if it was just all a ploy by CB all along to get a massive pay rise the club still might have done it all correctly and got shafted.

There still remains the argument that they shouldn’t have allowed themselves to get done in like this though.

Genuinely gutted at this.

CB would have been a class addition to the midfield and would have fit right in.

But again, I fail to see how the club deserve the blame for this one.

We coughed up the money for the release clause, offered him terms that he was willing to accept, and then Oxford come back and offer him way more than we were willing to pay.

I could see the argument that the club shouldn't have been led along, but how are they supposed to know the intentions CB and his agent? If CB and his agent were just using us to get a better contract then how could we have known that? What if CB genuinely wanted to come and was set on leaving and the board decided not to pursue because they think he's just trying to use us?

They're damned if they do, damned if they don't.

It happens all the time in every industry….

Employee interviews elsewhere
Employee gets new job offer on better terms
Original company offers better terms
Employee stays

Also an employee is generally more susceptible to a counter offer when they have to relocate for no other reason than work.

- people need to live in the real world and understand this happens every day all over the world and not just in football.

Whats all the excitement about . I see the rumour mill on this website got everyone going and once again it was inaccurate . Someone gets wrong info , puts it on line and a number of pool fans start blaming the club. Will we never learn that a lot on here is b'llocks. Appleton's tattoo, Rhys's tweet and now Brannigans transfer. ALL I CAN SAY IS GULLABLE.

Somethings not right, critchley, bishop and now Brannigan. It doesn’t matter who leaked it, both Bishop and Brannigan came, saw and left.

Perhaps you could up your bid for the LOI lad now

Quite shocked you haven’t got this deal done

What are your top brass saying to put these lads off ?

Maybe he’s a pal of Rhys and he put a word in 😆

So the club has shown its hand on financials. Were they genuinely prepared to pay the £1.2 million for CB ? I think we have all been played. I would suggest we won5 sign anyone this season for over £1million.

Sorry, that was just an opinion and as JJ said, an attempt at humour. I have no idea what happened!

Been played and used massively here. He knew what was on offer, always has. We offered very good terms, used as leverage to get security there instead. Fuck him.
Do us all a favour and just delete yourself you curse every ** transfer we have going on pretending you’re ITK

I'm not unhappy he isn't coming. Watch the 2 play off games against Oxford , he was anonymous in both. 4 years in League 1 and
no one from the Championship has seen fit to sign him . Would have been an expensive gamble in my book , not worth taking.

Burnley have just signed a Brazilian.
We’re fretting over some LG1 player with zero ambition.
The fault is identifying him as a summer target after the January fiasco.
Better, cheaper options abroad.
