Absolutely. That being said Apters performances for Tranmere are just as good at the same level as Brights were for us - so there’s every chance young Rob could have a great career if he can step up next season and match him. Although I’m not sure he’ll ever make an Afcon semi final 😂
 
I've had to just look this up, but this semi final for Bright means that he needs to win this game to at least equal the best AFCON finish by a player connected to Blackpool

The two points dropped at Blackburn by his flapping at the end gave Wolves and Rovers the opportunity to achieve a 3-2 result on the last day which saved both teams. They couldn’t have done that if we had won.

Of course if Howard Webb hadn’t wrongly given two free kicks to them in the last seconds Kingson wouldn’t have had to do anything
 
When you think of the consequences of this signing I would suggest he’s the worse signing in our history. We went into the premiership on possibly the lowest budget ever and decided half way thru to put a complete liability in goal.
He should of been sacked off way before the end of the season and an adequate replacement brought in who is at least competent and would give us a fighting chance but we pursued with him and paid the price.

Had Mark Clattenburg taken a couple of games off and not disallowed a perfectly good goal against Man Utd, and not given Blackburn's blatantly offside goal in the dying seconds of extra time we wouldn't have gone down either..

And Spurs away, in the very last minute of the game, when he came out for a corner and punched the ball to Defoe on the edge of the box, despite Evatt screaming at him to stay on his line. 1-1. Those 2 extra points would have kept us up.

Mind you, he played a blinder against Spurs at home, with a wonderful save with his feet in a 1-on-1 against Luka Modrić. As CAGU said.

No matter, it was all for the best.

Not sure his views on gays would have gone down well bearing in mind we have the only gay footballer.
Not so Bright as we called him towards the end.
