Bristol C v West Ham Fa Cup BBC1

I don't understand that at all. Yes I would have gone to West Ham, but thousands can't even be arsed to get out of their chairs and travel a mile or two or less to go to the game tomorrow. That stinks. And why wouldn't we want the club to have had the chance of a nice pay day at West Ham.
Irrational on financial grounds maybe, but we have Play Off memories of the West Ham fans and the way most journos seem to have a love in with them winds me up !,

And Bristol is easy?? That isn't the point though is it? 60,000 against 12000 plus Bloomfield Road is clearly the back of beyond for many who live round the corner from the game.
wasn't me that used the term back of beyond though which was pretty insulting really. Anyway it is what it is.

Insulting yo who? Bristol is a horrible place to get to. London isn't great I grant you, but at least it was the chance of a money earner. Anyway, we'll probably go out on penalties tomorrow!

You have got to be joking?? How can it be, it's the back of beyond, and West Ham is an EPL side who would have had over 60,000 supporters in the ground. I do wonder what planet some of our supporters are on.
Without showing too much disrespect Herts do you really know the Bristol region?

Yes, it's a great place, but it isn't. a 62000 seater stadium and surely making the most financially is what is important. They're both terrible away fixtures for a Friday night but there was more money in the West Ham game and we'd have won! 😂

Picking and choosing games. It's almost as if they're going to watch the opposition and will only turn out if its a 'big' team, ie one of those trying to get out and join the ESL.
Its almost as if we've got a lot of home games in Jan, a month known for people being skint.

Games they've already paid for seeing as the vast majority are STHs.
There's a lot of home games, cups and it's more than just the ticket cost, people have food etc. Still a decent amount on tickets too. A lot of factors. League attendances have held up.pretty well considering we never move and have a mountain to climb to catch anyone.

Winning at home helps. I've spent £40 on 3 Cup games. I know what you're saying about food etc, but it's hardly huge sums.

Got to say I was NEVER going to that horrible London ground on a Saturday let alone a Friday.

The thought of playing them clouded my anticipation of tonight’s game.

Got to say I’ll watch tonight (from Spain) now with “Eagle Eyes” and “should we win” a trip to Bristol even on a Friday night is a “possibility”.

A team that beat Portsmouth Away 4-0 in the league can definitely give Championship Bristol City a game!

I know, we have Premiership opposition who “played us off the park” in the second half of the first tie to deal with first.

Anyway, fingers crossed🤞🤞🤞🍀🍀🍀

If some people are already pretty skint in Jan lots of home games doesn't help and some will be prioritised.
