Is Norburn fit and where's Joseph?
Gotta be a case for playing Pennington in midfield in the John Stones role to show Kenny how to pass and surge forward.
 
Don’t think we necessarily need him tomorrow but we are really missing Norburn.
 
Thank christ it's on BBC 2 and poorly advertised , least all the nobbers will be watching strictly. Hope Evo doesn't flick through the channels and see how rock solid at the back we are .
 
Couldn't give a toss it's on the telly, hopefully Critch picks a mixture of kids and second string our first choices shouldn't be anywhere near a plastic pitch.
 
Critchleys style will probably suit us against a team like Bromley. Expecting a professional performance and result.
 
Think I'd pick something like:

O'Donnell
Lyons Connolly Ekpo Tharme Thompson
Morgan Oakley-Boothe Weir
Lavery Kouassi

Edit, unless Gabriel and Joseph are fit and Looking for a game.
 
After keeping clean sheets early in the season Pool have been shipping goals for fun recently. Two or three a game. Bromley will have done their homework and their astute manager will be looking to pressure us early on. If Rhodes plays gives us a decent edge but the plastic pitch and them on a good run full of belief, could go either way. I'm seeing 2-1 or hopefully 1-2.
 
On telly is never good. Please god we don’t embarrass ourselves on mainstream tv before the country and lose spectacularly. This is exactly the sort of small club that usually turns us over!
 
Reckon Critch will put out a strong team.

Rhodes on the bench though and he will pop up with a late goal.

Newcastle V Arsenal 5.30 kick off so that should mean a lot less people watching😂

Cos the league IS the priority. Say we play a full team and Husband, Pennington, Hamilton or Rhodes pull a hamstring and miss months like Joseph. Really worth it over a cup we’re not going to win?
 
We have an awful cup record in the last 60 years.
I can only think of the wins overArsenal(70) and Man City in 84 as the highlights.
Altrincham (twice) Hednesford, Yeovil, Torquay, Boreham Wood are the non league walk of shame.
Lost to several teams who were 2 divisions below.

The only player I wouldn’t risk is Rhodes,I’d play everyone else,previous winners shouldn’t disrespect this competition in my eyes .
 
Didn't realise we were actually in TV today.

I thought we were going to lose before I found that out but if its on TV its a certainty that we'll get completely dicked.

The league MUST be the priority, but, any player can be injured, at any time, we could rest quite a few today any any of them could be injured in the first 5 minutes of the next game.
It's a shit tie, win and we're expected to, lose and its a giant killing.
Artificial pitch, home team in decent form, not looking forward to it one bit.
 
a lot will depend on how we take to the pitch, struggle with could go behind early and be chasing the game.
 
david bowie says. says neil critchley is a jean genius that we need to find some space oddity in front of goal. all the young dudes we have playing will definetely put ther goal under pressure . Aladdin sane enough to predict the outcome of this one would be hard to call. Ziggy says their should be enough stardust to see us comfortable . but lose this and it will not be Hunky Dory and Critch might have to find some Life on Mars.

boreham wood was on the tv a while ago. was it 2017/8
