For once, I don't think you'll be far off. We only had 3.5K against Bolton7k? Will be half that.

In my opinion, this is an opportunity for our loss-making club to bring in some extra revenue and thety should take itWhat difference are you on about?
This is a bonus match like the last round its not like the club are losing money on these matches, its also on Sky TV so surely any shortfall is covered in the Sky money
Anyway the point isn't about folk on here wanting to pay less its about folk on this site wanting the club to do more to increase the attendance
Marketing and communication is pretty poor at the club and has been for a while i just want more fans in to watch us, is that such a problem?
I genuinely have no idea what the difference would be. If only 3500 bothered for a quarter final against Bolton that wasn't televised, it's difficult to predict. But attendance figures are linked to price and, as I've said, I'd love to see as many at Bloomfield Road cheering the team on as possible. I'm fully understanding of the fact that the club is a business. Ultimately, I'll be there and hoping we can make it through to another Wembley final. But your guessing thousands difference for a fiver it won't happen maybe if an Adult ticket was £5 would put a lot more bums on seats.
Just spoke to a couple of fans who go now and again.
Q- You going to the semi No and I hadn't even told them how much it was!
Wembley and they'll be in the queue outside BR.
The previpus games have been poorly attended more because of the nature of the competition than the price. That's not what I said now is it? It's a one off game in a tournament that has been poorly attended to date, which tells me the price point is wrong. I'm pretty sure the club budgets for the club to exit at R1 in all the cup competitions, I hardly think Sadler will go bust offering more affordable tickets for a one off game.
It's all opinions but I'm glad your not the one in charge, you're not an Oyston are you?The fame has been poor attended more because of the nature of the competition than the price.
The club needs revenue and within reason it should take every opportunity to generate that revenue. Tickets for 25 quid would not be reasonable for a game like this. Tickets below 10 quid would cost the club revenue. At 15 quid the balance is probably about right (although I would charge more!).
If I was I'd be suggesting 25 quid. It's all opinions but I'm glad your not the one in charge, you're not an Oyston are you?
Its clear how some view the competition, although there should be more interested the further we get yes.If cheering on your team in a semi-final with Wembley the reward isn't appealing enough, then we might as well all give up.
Not sure that's the main factor in the atmosphere tbh. Those people would just be drowned out anyway.I’m thinking a couple of things on this.
There’s a strong argument to reduce them to a tenner and fill the ground (but would we anyway?). Sky Tv coverage will effect the attendance too so a lower price point is an option to get more people there.
The price point argument goes out the window though when the Wembley tickets come out and everyone jumps on it.
However, it’s 1 game from Wembley and after the atmospheres v Forest and Bolton there’s a strong argument that the ground is full of people that want to be there and £15 isn’t too dear at all. All the boring, negative and depressing people can stay at home and post on the match thread bringing their dark clouds to the board & not to the ground.
I think after reading some nonsense on here the last few days I’m leaning to the latter option.
If we beat Peterborough there will be around 15,000 in that boat.Tbh if I turned up at Wembley and it was the only game I’d been to in the whole tournament then I’d feel a bit face-painterish
Those fans like me who've been to every home BSM game should get our Wembley tickets for half price. If we beat Peterborough there will be around 15,000 in that boat.
At least. Those fans like me who've been to every home BSM game should get our Wembley tickets for half price.
Will Ashley be able to cope with those numbers. It'll be like another Dutch invasion of the ThamesIf we beat Peterborough there will be around 15,000 in that boat.
dig out the QE2 from the scrappers. or you can get about forty on a U Boat. firing tangerine matchday torpedoes. Will Ashley be able to cope with those numbers. It'll be like another Dutch invasion of the Thames
Not sure I'd fancy the walk to Wembley from the Thames a tad further than Charlton. Will Ashley be able to cope with those numbers. It'll be like another Dutch invasion of the Thames
So you won't be getting the clapstix and the big foam rubber pointy finger out then? It's football's lossTbh if I turned up at Wembley and it was the only game I’d been to in the whole tournament then I’d feel a bit face-painterish
I’m going to have a card to hold in front of the cameras asking if CJ will sign my shirt. So you won't be getting the clapstix and the big foam rubber pointy finger out then? It's football's loss
And yet a crowd of just under 80,000 for last years final .Some ridiculous comments on here - most fans don't give a shit about this comp. Its only benefit has been to give pitch time to certain players. 4 points from Posh and Bolton either side of the semi is far more important.
Just hope Critchley doesn't risk too many key players.
What happens if he isn't in the squadI’m going to have a card to hold in front of the cameras asking if CJ will sign my shirt.
We’ll have a new trophy in the cabinetWhat happens if he isn't in the squad
And how many finals of a cup competition are we ever going to get to and potentially win? There is silver ware at stake here for the trophy cabinet.
How many teams in any division are going to win a trophy of any kind this year?
I very much doubt we will be up for sod all else this year. (Hope I'm proved wrong ).
Yep a cups a cup. For those not as into the competition, just pretend it's a better cup, works brilliantly. And how many finals of a cup competition are we ever going to get to and potentially win?
Certainly not the other two we entered into this season.
I'm 40+ following our club and it's the only cup I've seen us win and ever will.
You say that but I've 3 kids and there's another £20 - it all stacks up!That £5 difference would barely mean sod all on the overall attendance.
If your going your going not for a fiver.
So you want your 3 kids to get in for free? You say that but I've 3 kids and there's another £20 - it all stacks up!
It's not going to change now, enjoy having 4 seats each.So you want your 3 kids to get in for free?
There a fiver.
You have to see the two things differently mate, because they are. I know you can't go, but all you can do is play the game in front of you.Problem is our league position doesn’t make up for this game, it’s not like playing Man United in the FA cup 4/5th round, which would attract lots of interest and money. I am away on holiday but even if not I might watch on TV, but sorry so deflated about our league position, have loved over the club for over 50 years but we should have done so much more this season it’s hard to see how things will improve next season without changes.
100% agree - and I'd suggest the crowds so far reflect that. Some ridiculous comments on here - most fans don't give a shit about this comp. Its only benefit has been to give pitch time to certain players. 4 points from Posh and Bolton either side of the semi is far more important.
Just hope Critchley doesn't risk too many key players.
We're out of the other two, so this becomes the most important. You have to see the two things differently mate, because they are. I know you can't go, but all you can do is play the game in front of you.
It doesn't make up for the league position (which isn't untenable anyway), it's not meant to. It's completely separate, as all cup competitions are. OK, you can rank them in order of importance - FA, League then this one. We're never going to win the first two, so why not give this a good go.
I know I'm stating the obvious, but that's how it is. I hope you can get to a screen, wherever you're going.
Still pretty early yet for our fanbase ? Just for once I’d like to read of our fans “snapping up “ the tickets just like I read about other clubs fans doing .Still pretty early yet for our fanbase. At a guess probably a bit over 2k excluding hospitality so far...

Hard to say what the demand will be, but I'm going to guess and say it'll be around 6k home fans...
Some wins might help, then again if we're going nowehere in the league people might jump on this. Hopefully they do anyway.
That's the reality though, a late buying fanbase for games like this, as there's no rush, as everyone knows tickets are available and will be.Still pretty early yet for our fanbase ? Just for once I’d like to read of our fans “snapping up “ the tickets just like I read about other clubs fans doing .
Just wait till the final ticket prices come out.
First dibs should go to the fans that have attended bsm games if Blackpool should get to Wembley
It's not like there wouldn't be enough tickets, so no need to sell in any order.First dibs should go to the fans that have attended bsm games if Blackpool should get to Wembley
Cos they’re gonna sell 43,000 tickets?First dibs should go to the fans that have attended bsm games if Blackpool should get to Wembley
