Burnley prediction

Talking to a Burnley fan this morning and he said they are playing the best football he has ever seen at Turf Moor, touch and go finding space and finding a man 😕. Taking teams to the cleaners, so I worry about an embarrassing defeat on Saturday.

I really don't think we have any chance on Saturday, every week there is a "coupon buster" but unfortunately I don't think it'll be us next weekend 😕

Warnock conceded that they were the best Championship side he has seen in the last twenty five years at the weekend. Which of course bodes well given we're one of the worst currently.

Realistically I think the best we can hope for is a shithouse, 10-men-behind-the-ball point, but I think it'll be at least 0-3.

Pool 2 Clampets 1

The sort of game where we play way beyond our usual abilities and nick a result. And then probably not win again for the rest of the season.

Burnley the best championship side for 25 years.
Premier league parachute money vs. the poorest financially backed team in the league
Top vs Bottom
Form team vs team in poor form
Only means one thing...

1-0 Pool.

Yeah but saying you're seeing the best football you've ever seen at Turf Moor is the equivalent of saying Gary is the good looking Neville...not a very high bar.

In all seriousness though, we're going to get an absolute beating this weekend

Its OK, Mccarthy is planning to train on the pitch all week and turn it into an Oystonesque slagheap complete with tons of sand,it's got 1-1 all over it.

Can’t say if this is true or not , but I’ve heard that the club has contacted Blackpool Cricket Club with a view to borrowing their scoreboard for Saturday 🤥

anything below 4-0 will be a good result, I feel it could be a lot worse we have no idea at all, I was not a Fan of MA when he was appointed but McCarthy is even worse
break up one attack boot the ball upfield and let them start all over again.

We are playing some great football and have genuine quality in pretty much every department - even in reserve.

We have had decent money to spend, there’s no denying that. To do as well as we are, on the back of losing the majority of the squad from last season, trying to bring money in to balance the books post takeover and making a whole new team gel, is no easy task. VK has done a remarkable job.

It’ll be really interesting to see how we get on next year playing this way at the higher level against even better players.

I’ll be disappointed not to come away with three points on Saturday (on paper it should be a comfortable win) however at this stage of a season we start moving into funny results territory as teams fight tooth and nail.

It’ll be an interesting game if you play ultra defensively - we do seem to love pulling teams about and creating the space. Huddersfield didn’t press us until the half way line, last weekend, which really played into our hands.

May the best team win and here’s to what will hopefully be a cracking local derby.

5-0 Burnley and a customary red card to cement us as dirtiest team in the league.

You know it’s bad when I just don’t have the heart to go despite having a season ticket. I’ve given up. Start from scratch in league one. This is the worst season I’ve seen in the flesh
