Burton Away (Boxing Day)

Just thinking about sorting my tickets for boxing day. There is an option for standing vs seating. The price is obviously higher for seating.

Is it much better to be in the seated area rather than standing or not? Can anyone advise? Thanks

Seats are in a small block on the side near the corner flag.

Terrace behind the goal for standing. Barriers to lean on. What's not to like?

Just bought ours for the terrace also. Didn't realise their attendances were so low. 2406 total attendance today. With decent ticket sales it could be like a home game!

Won’t make much difference, shit ground with no atmosphere

And here was me contemplating going with my boys 🤣

Loads of reasons not to; it's Christmas and we always lose, we'll probably be expected to win etc etc and it's a fair old trek - but did quite fancy it.

Might not bother now 😁

Love to go but no public transport on Boxing Day. Annoying as it’s under an hour away from Rotherham.

O/T Athers. Was in Rotherham last weekend, my daughter & boyfriend have bought a house on Droppingwell Road, overlooking the M1 which is quite impressive at night. 5 mins from Meadowhall. Is that anywhere near your abode?

Car of 4 going from St Annes, via Blackpool and Preston. Hopefully we can shift all the tickets and then some. Always love a Boxing Day away game.

Last couple of times I've been I've stayed at St Georges Park (team was there as well when Larry was in charge). It's worth a visit just the wrong time of the year for me this time.

Ritual in our house as well - although this year the partners have decided to go shopping in Manchester .. the delights of Burton didn't appeal!
Don’t bother with Manchester City Centre …unless they offer free parking which they won’t….and of course there are no trains…head for the Trafford Centre if you must at least there are no parking charges….personally send your partners wherever and go to the footie.
