Busy week ahead. Incomings and Outgoings.

Apart from Nuttall, who is apparently going to Scunthorpe, I don’t see much more happening on outgoings, unless we get either permanent or loan options in, and it doesn’t look as if we’re prepared to pay silly money.

Mitchell is off to Hibs and Grettarson is being heavily linked with a move to a top division polish side. Both cash bids so we might look to replace these or use the money on others….plus then there are the saved wages. Thornley is apparently coming back from Oxford - though that might be just to try and force the Branigan move through - I think we will push (again) for Branigan and or the lad at a Forrest Green… whom it’s rumoured we are really keen on. Sarkic might get moved on as well pus there may well be some unexpected signing….I think it will be really busy but time will tell I guess.

I think we'll see more outgoings than incomings.

Kirk in on loan with a CM in on loan with Nuttall, Demi, Viking, and maybe Sarkic all leaving.

With where we are in the table I really don't think the club are going to move with any sense of urgency this last week, because the squad we have now are good enough to stay up and we're really not close to the top 6 either.

I think the club's biggest goal this window was to get things in place for the Summer by offloading deadwood.

Other clubs are being stingy and we don't want to break the bank for deals so I think we'll be more than happy to prepare for a busy Summer which I think is more than understandable 👍

I think we'll see a few leave, with 3 coming in.

Nuttall, Sarkic, Thornily, Mitchell, Robson and Gretarrson

Given the release clause for Brannagan has expired now, I've no idea who we'll bring in. I would hope at least 1 midfielder, 1 centre back and maybe Simms.

You just know someone will rock up we have never mentioned.
I like how Critch does that . We ve had one or two practically unheard of left field signings . Long may it continue. How refreshing it is after the irritating In The Knowers phase we went through for a while

Well set out Daz. It'll make for an interesting week.

Got a nice invite upstairs yesterday.

One more bid going in for CB, Thorniley as part of it. If they turn that down early this week we’ll be moving on to other targets.

Want £4 mil for Bowler, will only go now if Forest stump up. Replacements already lined up.

Robson part of the plans for the rest of the season.
Nice stuff Rek👍

Thornilley, Robson, Grettarson and Mitchell all have one thing in common. They are all “lefties”. How many will we have left ?
Bowler, CJ, Garbutt, and Husband. That isn’t many.

Boyle at Cheltenham is a giant of a left sided centre half, who is particularly good at attacking the ball in the opposition box and for a big man is comfortable with the ball at his feet. I have been impressed with him whenever I have seen him. I think he could play up a level!

4 million for Bowler should put an end to that, thankfully. Still think we will get Brannagan but if not then we have a few options plus we may well get one of them anyway.

I would expect a couple of loans to come in and as Fount's said there is bound to be a player or two who hasn't been mentioned at all.

Good news about Robson, I think he can do a job for us and he has a chance to get back into the fold. Should be an interesting 8 days.

I was told by one of my Oxford mates the deadline for Brannagan's release clause was Friday. I doubt they will accept any offer now, so suspect we will need to look into Plan B.

I'm glad the plan is to use Ethan Robson, if he's fit and in form, it gives us a decent option in a position we are light at the moment.

Isn't it nice to be going into the last week of the transfer window and excited about who comes in. 👍🏼

Players are cheaper in the summer break because there's so many more available.

Are you going to back that statement up with an ITK assertion?

A mate of mine who’s a big Dundee United fan says your welcome to him implying he isn that popular or good up there. But if Critch thinks he’s worth a punt then bring him here as long as he’s 50 times better than Goodwillie!🤦‍♂️

I watched him on a Sunday on sky not long back out of boredom, against Celtic. Admittedly it’s Celtic and it was a game where he was never going to see much of the ball but the game completely just passed him by, wasn’t physical enough, didn’t seem up for the fight.

I wouldn’t be too enthralled by it. But as aforementioned, if Critch sees a player there, I’m more than happy to trust it.

Good summary that Lanc, exactly as my mate said so far this season!

Note that Gambia (Ebou Adams) play Guinea at the Afcon tonight. If they win that the next game is on Saturday, which might make for a tight timescale if he is the choice …
