Bye Bye Backpass

Some of you guys can't see the wood for the trees.
I watched Henderson a lot last season and he made far more forward passes than back passes.
He was one of Liverpools' best players last season.

BTW, Jurgen Klopp seems to like his style and picks him on a regular basis.
Give me Klopps' judgement everytime.

I appreciate that but does that make every England player that played that night a bad one? The point I was trying to make is that Henderson is frequently written off but ends up back in the team. Liverpool will be signing midfielders this summer but JH will probably play 30 games plus again and feature for England.
 
I can’t understand why someone would spend so much time slating one player. What’s more weird is that Jordan Henderson is a good pro who has made the most of his ability. Nobody has ever said he’s be the next Pele.

It’s almost like he rattled the o/p daughter and ignored her texts.
 
Davepock I wonder what you actually look at sometimes Henderson only plays because Liverpool have nobody else .He creates zero scores zero and if he receives the ball with opposition within 10 yards of hm it goes 5 yards to someone else usually back or sideways .The ball is a hot potatoe I also have watched every Liverpool game and he is absolutley shocking .Against the big teams he goes missing and the fact he gets in the England team is hilarious but no suprise with negative dull Southgate .He is also missing in a England shirt even against the pub teams we have mostly played in recent years.Liverpool have needed a midfield upgrade for years their fans know it and it was masked for a couple of years with the fabulous front 3 but even then everyone knew their weakest area was midfield .For Liverpool's sake hope they get rid as at this level you need more than working hard .Side and backpassing with the odd hoof to nobody is good for the stats that's all

To be fair Bendit he does get more forward passes in now since he saw your first thread with over 300 replies 2 years ago. He’s pulled finger 😉
