Ridiculous
Yes it does.Make’s Jerry look cheap
Here he is, Captain Bullshit.Look at Tom Cannon that was supposed to be nailed on to join the Knobbers on loan again this season.
There are now 3 or 4 Championship clubs after him willing to pay a fairly decent transfer
Everton were asking for a £1m loan payment... The moment that became knowledge, the offers started flowing in
PKE were out of the bidding unless Everton took flags as payment, then in came Sunderland, Birmingham & Stoke.
Last offer was £8m but even that's been topped by an Italian club....supposedly he will go for £10m+ and he's only done half a season with PKE
So £18m for Archer who had an excellent season at Middlesbrough does look a good bit of business.
Bobby Ball ,rock on NobberHere he is, Captain Bullshit.
Who’s offered £8m for Cannon?
Unfortunately PKE couldn’t raise enough flags as too many had been nicked by 'kids'.Look at Tom Cannon that was supposed to be nailed on to join the Knobbers on loan again this season.

No he isn’t coming here. I was just amazed at the fee that Sheff Utd are prepared to pay for him. The cost of players now is just spiralling out of control in my viewSO is he coming here on loan. is that my understanding . or am i just missing the point.
Well several posters were foolish enough to think you meant he was. TBF he scored 11 goals in half a season at Boro and was part of the England U-21 side that won the Euros. Given his potential £18m might be the going rate; I'm not sure why Villa sold him really. No he isn’t coming here. I was just amazed at the fee that Sheff Utd are prepared to pay for him. Let's get it correct..... We got 2.5 million plus an injured player. But yes Swansea must still be passing themselves.Yes it does.
I still feel "Little old Blackpool" yet again allowed ourselves to be bent over in the transfer market!
2.5m for a proven championship striker?
Swansea must have pissed themselves when we accepted that deal!
Nobody wanted him for more than that you have to work with the variables you are presented with in revenue management. Perhaps would have been worth more to keep him if he was guaranteed 20+ goals and another promotion, but the lad wanted to leave and we needed to let him in order for us to be able to attract the next Jerry. The more seasons we spend in the Championship, and the more Jerrys we produce, the more they will go for in future. Remember we’re starting from the market value and bargaining power we inherited from the Oystons. It takes time and consistency to build from that.Let's get it correct..... Sunderland have an offer of £8m on the table......Here he is, Captain Bullshit.
