Hmmm dry before Christmas when you got decorations down but damp after Christmas when you put the decorations back - sounds like you might have a claim against that fat bastard in the red suit and his eight rodent reindeer for roof damage - call “Santa Claims” now!

I don't know a lot about roofing but I do know that when it's very cold the loft is more prone to condensation depending on the insulation (or lack of) on underside of tiles.

Hot air rises and condenses when it hits cold tiles. That happens all year but when it's really cold as it is now, it's more pronounced.

Alternatively, the roof is fucked.
