Capable of turning defeats in to wins?

Neil Critchley: “One win can quickly become two or three and I think we’re very capable of turning this little bad start into wins. When we do that, we still feel we will be a hard team to beat this season.”

Anyone convinced after the last 2/3 performances we're at that stage?

It's just not gelled at all yet has it? I certainly think we're better than bottom 4 (mid table I would hope after allowing a little more time), but haven't shown it in 4/5 games so far.

So to answer the o/p, I'm not convinced yet; but I reckon things will get better (can't get much worse I realise), but no idea when! We need to either a) score first; or b) figure out a plan B when we don't

He wont win another game...
The Taxi was started after Lincoln.
Get me a proper manager of men...
Barton

He’s right but for that to happen there needs to be some adjustments to the original game plans by Coach Critchley or it will be more of the same. He needs to learn and adapt.

We were winning with 10 minutes to go against the team who currently sit second in the table, so it doesnt seem too much of a stretch to see us possibly winning another game and seeing where it takes us.
We have already pretty convincingly beaten Swindon, which is conveniently forgotten about by anyone wanting to write this season off and condemn this team as being utterly hopeless.

Winning with 10 minutes left...
Doesnt unfortunately guarantee you 3 points...
We have a shed load of defenders (so called) to bed in...
Could take a while

We were 3-0 down at half time....
to a team who finished 12th last season...
You can put any spin you want on it...
The only common factor is...
We are rubbish at present

Wish you’d take your eyes off the screen every once in a while and get some fresh air
Don’t be having a pop at Spider his posting style is top notch and he has the ability to sum up more in his usual 3 lines than most can manage in 3 paragraphs.
Oh and regarding Critchley he’s just playing for time. I have zero optimism that we’re getting anywhere positive with him at the helm, starting losing faith preseason when he gave Nottingham a new deal and continuing to pick Yates and bringing Williams on when chasing a game just confirms my reservations.

We have to believe he can turn it around.

Getting off to a good start in games would go a long way to restoring a bit of belief and confidence in the players.

We've now sold Nottingham on for money. Good business.

Sold him for money? He’s cost us a couple of games and I suspect we paid more in wages to him than we received in any transfer fee. Undisclosed fee from Accrington Stanley who haven’t got a pot to piss in 😊

Agree that his errors have been costly, but in the case of Gillingham, they were early on in each half
The team had about 40 minutes each half to get back into that game, but never looked like doing so as a unit

Also agree that it was good business. Irrespective of the fee, it released some of the wage budget to sign a CB and stay within salary cap.

Winning becomes a habit.
It certainly helps with a captain in the middle and players willing to bleed tangerine.
It hasn’t been a case of bad luck - it’s individual mistakes, a badly formed defence, bad passing in the final 3rd, lack of shots on target, faffing around over passing in non-dangerous areas of the pitch. They need to be looking forward, making runs, losing their markers, switching sides at will, threading clever through balls, balls over the top, accurate long diagonal passes, quick one-twos, keeping the tempo up not slowing things down, using the pace in the team to its best advantage. They need to stop pretending to be the cut price lovechild of Liverpool and Barcelona.
When they manage that, we might string a few results together and turn out to be the side we were all hoping for.
