Carabao cup 1st round

Will it be mid-week? You'd imagine if its a Saturday at the start of August 'Boro would bring absolutely loads down for a sunny weekender in Blackpool
 
At least we’re are at home, maybe interest from TV?, would have preferred a lesser team to have a better chance to get a cup run going and give the squad playing time. However, these are the type of clubs we want to be mixing with, so overall cannot complain.
 
I’d like Barrow or some other local lower league lumps that we can send the kids out against and still win at a canter 😉
 
Think Middlesbrough will be a good test of our strength. Clearly Boro are not the club they were and likely to be bottom half contenders next season, if not potential relegation candidates.
