Carlisle fan in peace

Thanks so much guys, the Italian sounds great, I would consider a drive as we will have the car, but ideally staying in town then we can have a drink. Any breakfast places if possible ?
Lytham Kitchens is cracking for breakfast mate.....really good and a nice place

Thanks for getting me through the magic hundred guys ! To be fair, I find this is a really good forum, the CUFC one will have some good threads but the same old names will hijack them and turn it into a personal thread all about them. It used to be well populated, informative with a wide range of opinions on, not now, hardly anyone uses it due to the negativity.

Good afternoon, congratulations on your promotion (obviously helped by two ex Carlisle United players !)while we continue to drown in mediocrity, pitiful owners and another year of false hopes and dreams, come August though the optimism will be back.

This might seem a bit random, but I am coming down to your lovely seaside Mecca in a couple of weeks for the weekend, I’m coming with my 3 daughters and grandson who is 5. Doing the normal stuff, mainly the PB and stuff like that.

We are staying in one of the premier inns, one nearest the PB, can you guys help out with some recommendations of nice places where we can get a good breakfast, and evening meal.

Doesn't have to be fine dining but also don’t want greasy spoon and wetherspoons. Girls are in their 20s, somewhere comfortable, nice food and atmosphere, particularly for the evening meal.

Really appreciate any suggestions guys, thanks in anticipation.
In the evening if you are heading to the town centre I would recommend Amaro an Italian on Church St. If you are looking for somewhere closer to where you are staying then I recommend Italio on Highfield Road. For breakfast, I recommend Topo on Highfield Road 🤩

@SgtElias - do 911 still perform before every home game at Brunton Park? There was a time every time I went up there one of them was on the pitch! Also, do they still do a half time broiled burger 🤢🤢

911 don’t perform anymore, however the ex lead singer is a big blues fan.

“marra” is a term used by anyone, usually from the west of Carlisle instead of using mate, not used in Carlisle. Does your son work at Sidac the plastics factory Hazi ? Biggest employer by far in Wigton.

Just for the newer eatery recommendations which are appreciated, we are back home now.
