MOTM for me again tonight by quite some distance. Followed by Husband some way back in 2nd place.
Good player this lad

A centre back does basic centre back stuff well. Well yeah that's his job. Sorry for wetting myself.Casey appears to be the new Jordan Thorniley. Does basic centre back stuff well and AVFTT absolutely wets its collective pants over it
He got the ball off Marv and moved it on, played the easy ball, headed it straight up in the air a couple of times. He was fine.
Husband did the basics and also carried the attack to them at times. He's been our best player this season and is underappreciated.
All-in-all, we really need some attackers!
It wasn't really aimed at you. I just haven't seen anything out of the ordinary from him. It's not like he's keeping us in games. He's just heading it (usually well) and kicking it away and passing it to the nearest team-mate.A centre back does basic centre back stuff well. Well yeah that's his job. Sorry for wetting myself.
Weird comment
on the ball he's been poor but his actual defending has been great and that's what his principle job is to do.Husband MOTM for me also.
Not sure what’s happened to Marv but my god he’s been garbage, and I’d replace him Saturday with Pennington to be honest.
Opposed to Marv who could be the oppositions top assisted player. It wasn't really aimed at you. I just haven't seen anything out of the ordinary from him. It's not like he's keeping us in games. He's just heading it (usually well) and kicking it away and passing it to the nearest team-mate.
He definitely looks good enough to have in the squad though. Sort of player who won't let you down.
Agreed.Hubby for me!! Had a solid game.
Yes, the was the one thing I took from the game really. That looked good.Thought second half , Husband & Lyons linked up very well.
Use the edit buttonCarey for me.
Damn predictive text - Casey.
There is a case for him playing over Marv. I think we'd miss Marv's defending though. He does make those crucial blocks and clearances that aren't run of the mill. We haven't actually conceded a single goal yet.Opposed to Marv who could be the oppositions top assisted player.
Casey has been fantastic because everything he should be doing, he’s been doing to a top level. Weird original post from you. He’s a starter and has shown he’s better on the ball and more reliable than Marv.
One letter but chalk and cheese performances.Carey for me.
Damn predictive text - Casey.
That was a big difference between Maxi and Grimmy, Maxi was very good at releasing the ball much quicker and sometimes led to a goal or two.Grimshaw doesn't help Marv either because he spends so much time on the ball himself looking at all his options, decides he doesn't have many so basically justs taps it to Marv.
Except he wouldn't have would he ?2nd half Hubby was outstanding down the left wing.
@td53 will tell you that if Gary Goals was on the pitch he'd have bursted through and nodded at least two of those crosses in.
Hubbie also worked well with Connolly, that left side looked solid.Yes, the was the one thing I took from the game really. That looked good.
His best defensive work has been putting right his own gaffes. The modern day Peter Clarke.on the ball he's been poor but his actual defending has been great and that's what his principle job is to do.
He only played with Ballard 8 times. He played more, and we were more successful when he was partnered with Gretarsson.Marv had the benefit of playing with Ballard and then Keogh who used the ball very well, once he lost those partners and it was up to him he was exposed badly both last season and this so far. I'm not sure what the answer is though with 3cbs unless it's to move him out of the middle but then it depends on if he can play as a wide cb. He's been poor though.
Same principal though, partnered with better ball players so he didn't have to.He only played with Ballard 8 times. He played more, and we were more successful when he was partnered with Gretarsson.
