Casey

We're weak in depth at centre half considering we start with 3 of them every game. Need another in January because we know Ekpiteta can't play this system.
Considering some are saying we've a great squad we're weak all over the park if our 1st choice players are either injured or suspended.
Norburn and Virtue being out has highlighted a fragile midfield.
If Rhodes got injured who scores the goals?
And Connolly, Ekpiteta and Tharme don't fill me with confidence. However with Gabriel and Lyons to come back hopefully sooner rather than later defence isn't such a problem.

Tharme Casey Ekpiteta Connolly Husband Pennington.
We have plenty of centre halves.
Pennington and Husband yes. Casey okay as back up but still a bit of a question mark, been found out badly in the last two games. Ekpiteta can't play the system. Connolly isn't good enough generally in my opinion. Tharme isn't getting a look in so presume he isn't up to it.

Personally I think we could do with a solid centre back, decent on the ground, in the mould of Evatt or Keogh to play between Husband and Pennington.

Puzzles me why we bothered to keep tharme here if he's not going to get a chance. What's the point?
Tharme has said it was his choice... He said he preferred to stick around and work with Critchley as opposed to going out on Loan... He's fully awar of the 'Game Time' situation. 👍

We went after lad at Ipswich left C/B on loan. Need Moxon or Bacchus in Jan. Interested in Dylan Sloan at Larne in N/Ireland lot of potential apparently.

He got his chance and had a great start to the season. These last two games though he's been found wanting a bit. Ever since Critch praised him before the Cheltenham game.

Forget how many games they played together, can't have been more than 2 or 3 but I thought Marv and Pennington together in the center looked pretty solid. He's obviously had a few wobbles and is not a sweeper ffs but purely from a defensive standpoint Marv should be bossing this league and i'm excited to see him have a run of games and hopefully build his confidence.
